ChocChick Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Loved your slideshow! I have to say, my favorite image was the one with the ram skull. Love pics like that! Hey, please share the song and the artist that you chose to accompany your pics. It sounded gorgeous! Did you say you were going to do the slideshow in Bellingham? I would really love to make the trip up there for it! Quote
Distel32 Posted October 8, 2004 Author Posted October 8, 2004 Yeah it is going to be in Bellingham. Thanks for the generous compliments! The song is "Hands Away" by Interpol I listened to that CD a lot while on my trip, especially while in the Gobi and it just seemed to really fit with the places I traveled to. The skull picture: Those are the sheep I worked with for two weeks, Argali (Ovis Ammon), they are amazing animals! Fun to wrestle. Quote
Dru Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 fun to wrestle especially with velcro gloves! Quote
Distel32 Posted October 8, 2004 Author Posted October 8, 2004 indeed! However you have to wrestle them by holding their horns.... Quote
Dru Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 By the horns? Or "if you're going to ride my ass at least pull my Horns"? Quote
Distel32 Posted October 8, 2004 Author Posted October 8, 2004 little of both, we liked to mix it up Quote
EWolfe Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 Dude! You could have saved a ton of money by a pilgrimage to Wyoming. Same landscape. Seriously, nicely done - looking forward to the show. Quote
