mattp
Sorry to let you down, Lambone. I'll try to be more entertaining next time.
Lambone
I'm sorry, you make a point that I can't follow. Â I'll tell ya what mattp, ya know what would make this thread fun again... Â If you would tell all of us whether you yourself have drilled bolts at Darington illegaly, or been a part of a team or project that did. Â That's what I'd like to know....before I'd consider signing up with your club.

Cpt.Caveman
Here's some advice- read the Bad Style - Retarded dumb spray mix. Â Now that's the kind of convo I like to see. Â All the moderators are busy making the rest of the site for the masses. I 'd call that thread A number one good shit to read. I think it's just about to get better... willstrickland
So this is the Boulder Creek Wilderness or something like that?(seems like that's what the sign on the trail said). Â By illegal, do you mean power-drilled, or simply drilled when the fixed anchor ban / interpretation of anchor as a prohibited "fixture or installation" was being advocated by the USFS? Lambone
I thought you were leaving. Â I'll take that, as well as your efforts to ignore the question in the past....as a YES. Â That's fine, but if you want to be a leader in the community then you need to be heald accountable for your actions. Â Not argueing with your integrety. If you wer to say NO, I'd drop it and leave it alone. Â Then there is the other members/organizers of this group to consider. Â Still waiting for me to leave? You'll have to wait for a long time...or just go ahead and ban me. Â so long, till next time!

That's what I'd like to know....before I'd consider signing up with your club. Â Speakin' of drillin....I heard there were some quick-draws hanging off a goofy "mixed" climb in Alpental. That fact became a real abuse-magnet on another tread and featured some of the same bad-talkin' moderators. Here's some "free advice" for you: whoever is responsible should remove their junk. Cpt.Caveman
dis climbers that have done so much for climbing in the NW Â Like what? Â Climbing is one of the most selfish activities.
Lambone
they have fired in lots and lots of bolts, scrubbed lots of moss, glued lots of holds. Â yes, I should bow down to them. Â ::bowing to the screen:: Â yes...what would washinton climbing be without the likes of Mr. Burdo??? Â Â I suppose everyone would be forced to climb at index or something. sexual_chocolate
I guess I did jump into something I didn't know anything about.... Â Lambone, you're an ass, plain and simple. tomtom
Â Belaying with anchor tied to the back of the harness?
Lambone
Lambone, you're an ass, plain and simple. I don't remember you being this bad last time about a year ago when I was around....  I'm trying to see what it takes for a guy to get banned around here.  Apparently directly insulting the moderators and their friends doesn't work for some people.  Yet if pope and Dwayner bitch about bolts for too long they get the boot.  go figure  maybe you just gotta post some puupy porn...   Edited September 17, 2004 by Off_White

sexual_chocolate
Great; now I feel like an ass meddling again. Â Go at it, playas.
MervGriffin
Go at it, playas. Â Playas? That's Spanish for "beaches". Â Maybe he's telling us we are sons of beaches...or maybe we should quit climbing "to chill out" and go to the beach. ?????? Â By the way, shouldn't you bolt-defenders be using the term "BLT's" to thwart "The Man" from finding out about your naughty activities during a Google search? Or did you finally realize that was silly business?
catbirdseat
one more question. why was this road into the Darrington climbing area built in the first place? Â Second, multiple questions....your home is made from wood right? And you drive on highways made from gravel? And you eat beef I assume? And you use trailheads tha the FS is expected to maintain? I noticed this question never got answered. The road was built to the Bornite Mine around the turn of the century. It was improved an maintained for logging purposes. Although I am certain no one cares by now.
Lambone
well they should just start logging and mining again and everything will be cool. sice Kerry is a loser...it probly won't be long.
