sketchfest Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Help!! If I'm staying at the Inn @ the 7th Mtn, how would I get to Phils for some mtn biking?? TIMMY!!!Anyone....bueller...bueller??? Quote
gapertimmy Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 The trail system is just on the other side of the road from the Inn. I'm pretty sure there is a trail right next to the hwy there, but not positive. You can always drive over to the normal trailhead off of Skyliners road, or access from the snowparks too. Quote
jon Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Sketch, go get a map. If you aren't familiar with the area it is easy to get lost and be going in circles forever. The trail is marked, but like Oregon road signs not super obvious. Quote
Chad_A Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 I just did the Phil's Helipad loop there a few weeks ago. You'll have a great time. Usually, at the trailhead, there's xeroxed trail maps in a box; probably worth your time to pick up the foldable (huge) Central Oregon Mountain Biking Map. Anyway, even if you do get a bit off track, you'll eventually run across a sign that will direct you back to the trailhead. While you're there, make sure to check out the Mrazek trail, as well. Have fun! I sure did. Good beer at the Deschutes brewery afterward, too. Quote
b-rock Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Sketch - I have the Central Oregon Mountain Biking Map vw mentions. It rocks and it has a ton of other options, I'd be happy to lend it to ya. Quote
