JoshK
When I saw this thread title I immediately thought: 1.) You were gonna mention some drug deal or hookers you saw on highway-99/aurora ave 2.) I was wondering what you were doing in Seattle.
snoboy
heh I was hoping for a big display on Rainier on Friday night, but no such luck...
Norman_Clyde
In the Pickets there was a small display both Saturday and Sunday nights. One wavy white streak undulating back and forth for an hour or so. I saw quite a few satellites as well.

cj001f
Sunday morning the view was awesome from Emmons on Rainier. Waves, Strobe action, plumes, awesome!
ski_photomatt
There was a nice display from Maude Saturday night. Vertical sheets of green dancing back and forth. Occasionally one would shoot off into space to be quickly replaced by another.
Dru
the sunspots are mellowing out so no big auroras forecast, but the perseids should peak aug 11 and 12. moon will be low in or out of sky, and there's a rarely seen extra group of meteors this year that earth hasn't passed through since the 1860's that should add a few hits per hour. so keep watching the skies!
