TimL Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 My partner had to bail for good reasons, so looking to do something in the mountains. Was thinking of something like Clean Break and Chianti, or a long rock ridge traverse or something snowy/icy, but I'm open to anything. I could maybe take Tuesday off as well. PM me if interested. ken4ord Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 He listed his poison Clean Break and Chianti, both I want to do. Too bad I freaked up foot/ankle. Quote
TimL Posted July 1, 2004 Author Posted July 1, 2004 That sucks Ken. I'd be into doing Chianti and Clean Break, but up for other things as well, although I'd like to get the best bang for the buck and WA PAsss sounds money! Quote
TimL Posted July 1, 2004 Author Posted July 1, 2004 tape your ankle....I'll ropegun  really, thats a bummer about your ankle Quote
upupandaway Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 TimL, gimme a route description for WA PAsss Quote
MCash Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 TimL, gimme a route description for WA PAsss  That is an area, not a route.  I'm a bit rusty at multipitch anchor building  Chianti, East Face and Juno Tower, Clean Break.  I don't think these terms go together. Quote
Matt Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 Rope gun alert! Wish I could hit you up for some rope gunning Timmy, but it's the 4th and I'll be fightin' fires! Â If you go up to Chianti think about camping up at the col a knocking off a few of the other towers too! Lots of cool looking rock up there! Quote
gnibmilc Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 Tim, Â What happened last sunday? i saw your car parked in the right place.... Quote
TimL Posted July 3, 2004 Author Posted July 3, 2004 Climbing partner bailed, unbailed, then rebailed. PM me if you want to climb at WA Pass. I'd also be into other stuff. I'll ropegun. Just make sure your competent and can follow fast 5.10- in the mountains. Quote

Al_Pine Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 (edited) Hey jja nice pics! Â Attached is your pic of the route with the offwidth indicated by the red arrow and a possible alternate indicated with blue arrow. Anybody here done the blue arrow corner? I remember peeking up it. Looked nice, quite asthetic, but might have pinched off. Not much asthetic about that offwidth! Â Anybody got any beta on that corner? Seems like maybe Colin might have posted something about that. Here's the post I was thinking of. Â Edited July 6, 2004 by Al_Pine Quote
lunger Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 years ago went up that corner--nice fingers/hands lieback, then a bit o' squeeze chimney (both clean, aesthetic), then a sporty traverse to get back on the yell. Quote
