Look at those stylish lines! -trailer not included -yes, the chassis is strengthened with duct tape Asking $900 I'm selling because I'm getting a 4-stroke for next season. email if interested! Quote
savaiusini Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 We'll certainly miss being towed behind her throaty breath. Her replacement will have very big shoes to fill. I think you should keep the 'bilers for Nader sticker, personally! Quote
gapertimmy Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 the got rope? sticker alone increases the value by .25$ Quote
philfort Posted July 16, 2004 Author Posted July 16, 2004 BUMP Hey! Somebody make an offer! I'm getting the new one next week, and this one will have to be dumped off at a dealer! Quote
Skip_M._Kliphiem Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 Donate it to the NWAC for a season fund raiser next fall. everyone who hates bilers and puts down $5.00 for a ticket gets to take a whack at it with a sledge hammer. And it's tax deductable for you. Quote
philfort Posted July 16, 2004 Author Posted July 16, 2004 never! This is a nice respectful snowmobile , it has never been driven off logging roads (by me anyway). Donating it to a good cause isn't a bad idea though... hmm - I wonder who could use a snowmobile. Quote
JayB Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 How about renting it out for cheap to people who agree to use it to scope out new ice-climbing areas...so long as they swear to share the finds they uncover with it. Quote
slaphappy Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 One of my clown friends should buy it so I have more people to ski with this season. Oh yeah, one can't afford pants, another lives in his truck and the rest are simply bums. Damn irresponsible climber types! Good luck, looks like a fair deal. Which 4-stroke you gonna get? Yamaha? Quote
philfort Posted July 16, 2004 Author Posted July 16, 2004 (edited) Arctic Cat 2-up touring T660... the minivan of snowmobiles! Is there any place I can still drive to snow this time of year!? Edited July 16, 2004 by philfort Quote
cracked Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 If you pack it up the glaciers, sure! How much quieter are the 4-stroke sleds? Still louder than a car? Quote
slaphappy Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 When I was a youngin back in the midwest, I had a 440 Exciter, damn thing was fast! Sweet, no highmarking for you. Get out the garden hose and ride it around the yard! Neighbors love that shit! Cracked, quiet? Quote
JoshK Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 Cracked, they are quiter, but by no means quiet. They run a hellavu lot cleaner tho and spew out much less shit. Quote
slaphappy Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 and heavier... Hopefully they will continue to make progress with the 4- strokes, it ultimately is the better option. meanwhile- 900 RMK! Quote
philfort Posted July 23, 2004 Author Posted July 23, 2004 Well it's still available I found enough space to store it until I sell it. Maybe I'll have more luck when the snow starts flying and the ice starts forming. In the meantime... I picked up its replacement today: But I don't know what to do for bumper stickers I need some kind of left-wing thing more up-to-date than the Nader one... Darn modern curvy chassis isn't very bumper-sticker friendly... Quote
