Dru Posted March 13, 2004 Author Posted March 13, 2004 The plumber just called and can't come till Monday. FREE! Â But now I have no excuses. Shit, I better start packing Quote
faster_than_you Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 What do you need hot water for if you're climbing? Leave the plumber a key and return on Tuesday. Quote
Dru Posted March 13, 2004 Author Posted March 13, 2004 its for having a shower when i come back fromn the climb. i guess it's sponge bath option till monday. Quote
thelawgoddess Posted March 14, 2004 Posted March 14, 2004 just buy a package of wet wipes and you'll be fine. smelling fresh as a baby in no time! Quote
scott_harpell Posted March 14, 2004 Posted March 14, 2004 He always smells like one... just usually one that has just had whirled peas an hour ago. Quote
Dru Posted March 14, 2004 Author Posted March 14, 2004 Well WTF, I set the alarm for 5, slept thru it and in fact slept till 9 or 10 AM. Determined not to waste a beautiful day I unpacked the pack, packed the crashpad and went off to Hope. Cleaned about 5 new problems and climbed my whole circuit with the new additions except for the one I cleaned 3 years ago and still can't do  One of the new problems was even a "natural sit start" that is, a problem which is actually logically best started from a sitting position as opposed to a problem where a sit start is a contrived means of adding length and difficulty to a problem. OMFG I did a sit start, am I turning into Distel? Obviously not cause I didnt take ANY photos  Came home and had a cold shower cause the heater wont be fixed till Monday. Cold showers are obviously an acquired taste I never bothered to acquire Quote
scott_harpell Posted March 14, 2004 Posted March 14, 2004 Well it ain't no FWA, but good on ya for getting out anyways. I had a paper to write so i had to settle for some early morning time at the lake. Let me know if you wanna meet up at lefevre sometime. Quote
sk Posted March 14, 2004 Posted March 14, 2004 aparently it was more important for me to go to urgent care this morning, rather than leave for smith. is there a lesson in this some where? Quote
Dru Posted March 14, 2004 Author Posted March 14, 2004 it was more important for me to go to urgent care this morning, rather than leave for smith. Â i hope you are OK now? Quote
sk Posted March 14, 2004 Posted March 14, 2004 getting better thank you. but no climbing for me this weekend Quote
catbirdseat Posted March 14, 2004 Posted March 14, 2004 The answer to the question is dependent on marital status and whether SO/Spouse like winter climbing. Quote
