AllYouCanEat Posted May 8, 2002 Posted May 8, 2002 What does a yearly climbing permit cost on Rainier? How long does it last i.e., from date of purchase or climbing season. I seem to remember 50 bucks... Quote
jaee Posted May 9, 2002 Posted May 9, 2002 It's been $25 the last few years. They call it a yearly (or annual) pass because it lasts a year from the date you purchase it. Quote
Dan_Larson Posted May 9, 2002 Posted May 9, 2002 Yup still 25 dollars or 15 for a one time visit . Yeah right Quote

Fishing lisence. Thax for the info though....jason...ps 25 dollars doesn't make sense. Anyone else verify that. And I'm not talking about a Mount Rainier NPS entrance pass... To_The_Top Posted May 9, 2002 Posted May 9, 2002 Well as of last year it was $25 and it was from the time you bought it and good for a year from that date bought (climbing fee). I dont know of the entrance fee, but they make it easy for those that live near the Park and go there more than once a year, so $15 one time and $25 if you feel like going up there over and over, which means you can climb it 5 times for 5 bucks a time in a year, if you are into that. Stonehead Posted May 9, 2002 Posted May 9, 2002 Yep, I had an annual climb pass last year. Was $25. But they raised the annual entrance fee to $30. Quote
AllYouCanEat Posted May 9, 2002 Author Posted May 9, 2002 Hmm, my bad. I will have to take that up. Twenty-five bucks isn't so bad...jason...ps entrance fee. Just show up at 6 a.m. before they start charging Quote
