WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Another vote for Conrad Kain and the other incredible early guides up there. Chopping steps all the way up the Kain Face on Robson for clients! The pioneering guides of Roger's Pass. Reading old copies of CAJ and the Columbia mtns guides is humbling.

I can't believe you guys want to be like anyone! Don't you think that what you have accomplished is worthy? If not then get your shit in gear and go climb something hard. After all, our generation has the ability to take what was learned by every generation before us and bring climbing to the next level.

All you gotta do is on-sight free solo the North Norweigan Buttress of Mount Index! Then you will be a hero!

Okay, so maybe that is a bit too tough, maybe just find new lines in the Enchantment Plateau. Paul Boving dodn't climb all the hard ones
