thelawgoddess Posted December 7, 2003 Posted December 7, 2003 most of us climb in the summer. you missed out! get yourself some picks ... or some sticks. Quote
willstrickland Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 Hell yeah! WAY MOTIVATED. Too bad it's too cold to even ice climb here. I can't imagine how bad the dinner plating gets at -25F. Â Did a whole load of sets of 12 pullups yesterday. Some sets with a towel thrown over the bar...hanging on like ice tools. Some sets using the close-handed row attachment for the seated cable row thrown over the bar. Some regular palms away sets, some palms facing each other on parallel bars sets. Something like 9 sets total. Â Some jackasses in the military gym I work out in like to play the one-upsmanship game. I'd complete a set of 12...after having already done a bunch of sets, and some dude who just walked in would walk up and do 14 or 15. "You wanna play suzie? Let's PLAY!" So I knocked out a couple of one arms just to piss them off. GRRRRR!!!!! Testosterone battle. How big's your dick now suzie? Â MOTIVATED. Six espresso shots RRRRRRRRR!!!! MOOOOOTTTTIVATTTTEEEEDDD!!!!! Quote

willstrickland Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 No man, I'm really motivated. Those last two weren't supposed to be there. My Mac does some weird shit when I'm editing posts sometimes, always wants to put the graemelins at the end when I click 'em. I've been working out hard, and if it weren't about 2000 miles to Squish, I'd be amped to get on some rock. Quote
scott_harpell Posted December 8, 2003 Author Posted December 8, 2003 i was talking about cracked and TLG. Quote
scott_harpell Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 Its about that time again! Quote
RuMR Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 yeah...screw skiing!! ITS COLD WEATHER SENDING TIME!! Quote
scott_harpell Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 This is when you are the strongest and the temperature is perfect for nailing those routes that have shut you down all summer. Just find a couple days without rain and you are set. Quote
iain Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 Shut it, you pencil-legged knee-knockers. Remember, it's pizza-fries-pizza-fries to get down the bunny slope w/o crying. Â Quote
scott_harpell Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 hill skiing is an environmental tradgedy. Quote
iain Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 ooooohhh hill skiing...as opposed to what? skiing the flats? wtf are you talking about? Quote
RuMR Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 so...this is a thread about being motivated for CLIMBING...so why don't all you skiin' tools go find a treewell to wallow around in, mmmmkay??? Quote
specialed Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 Don't ever go to Alaska RUMR, you actually have to SKI to the climbs. Quote

iain Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 Dude, I'm like 6', 185. Plenty of insulation to keep me warm. Quote
scott_harpell Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 no wonder you would rather ride the lifts. Quote
iain Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 I prefer the chopper actually. Whatever consumes the most fuel and generates maximum annoyance per run. I'm already in negotiation to get some ski baskets on the blackhawks down at the airbase. Quote
scott_harpell Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 Well... I'm gonna go climbing. Quote

Don't worry special...i'll be going to thailand or australia or the french riviera (maybe the italian) or majorca, or siurana or maybe southafrica loooooong before i go to tundraville.... Quote
