Satisfaction (uhu hu hu) came in the chain reaction (burnin') I couldn't get enough, (till I had to self-destroy) so I had to self destruct, (uhu hu hu) The heat was on (burnin’), rising to the top, huh! scrambler Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 Necro I woulda figured that you'd post the lyrics to MC 900 Foot Jesus' "The City Sleeps" stealin' down an alley on a cold dark night i see a halo in the rain 'round a street light i stop and look and listen to the sound as the raindrops penetrate the silence all around alone, i gaze into the glistening street the distant thunder echoing my heartbeat urging me on to a secret goal away from the light from this lamp on a pole so i turn slip away into the rain drifting like a spirit through the shadows in the lane clutching the tools of my trade in my hand an old box of matches and a gasoline can --snip-- Quote

Oh, thanks for setting me straight, chicken little. I thought it was just Plam Springs and the surrounding desert cities area. The fires are unfortunate, because so many homes are burning and people have been killed. In scope they're really not much different than fires in BC this summer and you weren't all up in arms about them. This sort of thing happens every few years in CA when there is the right mix of santa ana winds and dry temps. Later this winter there will likely be a lot of rain and massive mudslides with homes falling off into the ocean after being reclaimed by the sea. Stay tuned to your news station for CA devastation 2003/2004. Quote
