Scott_J Posted September 23, 2003 Posted September 23, 2003 Veterans of Russia's campaign in Chechnya are serving in the Israeli Army as highly trained snipers in the West Bank and Gaza, the army has confirmed. Most snipers are armed with Barrett .50 calibre semi-automatic rifles, accurate to a range exceeding 1000 metres etc.etc. http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/09/23/1064082997624.html Quote

Jim Posted September 23, 2003 Posted September 23, 2003 Didn't see Trask's reply but as usual he's master trolling. Unusual to see a logical reply - but it's the internet and his form of entertainment. I'd suggest climbing as a better release. Quote

JayB Posted September 23, 2003 Posted September 23, 2003 Some folks feel the same way when people sanction the deliberate slaughter of civilians by means of human bombs as a legitimate form of protest or political expression on the Palestinian's part. Better denounce these tactics while you are denouncing the use of snipers which, at the very least, are not indescriminate. Quote

Not to come to anyone's defense, but he's talking about Trask's comment about "kill all the Palestians" - which is hardly descriminate. Quote
