cracked Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 Maybe it doesn't belong here, but.... I went to Smith w/my parents. I finally led a trad 10c (Kunza Korner), and climbed a bunch of sport climbs. Hot in the sun, though. I need to go there in the winter more often. Quote
erik Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 thats pretty neat you get to go with your parents. Quote

Peter_Puget Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 It does belong here. Kunza rocks! Quote

cracked Posted September 22, 2003 Author Posted September 22, 2003 What was really cool is that I had never looked at the thing before. Walked up, scoped it, and sent. Classic onsight. Dwayner would approve. A sweet route. Fat fingers are NOT an asset. Quote
Off_White Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 Kunza is a great climb, but it forever has a bad association in my mind. The time I did it, my friend who lead it had a hard time, and her boyfriend (another friend) was just vicious in his criticism, reduced her to tears. It made for an uncomfortable experience for the six or seven of us there as spectators. Relationship meltdown in a very public forum is not necessarily entertaining, but I dunno, I don't think I've ever been reduced to screaming at my climbing partner. Quote
ChrisT Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 Some people take this stuff waaaaaaaay too seriously. Quote
Dru Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 Kuza looks good. Cracked can you compare it to Pack Animal Direct? much harder or just a little bit? oh wait, don't tell me i want to onsight it too Quote
