CrazyFlattlander Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 Yep, no doubt about that. It is kind of sad. The only knock on G.W. is that he is not exactly friendly toward the environment. Which does concern me a lot given the forum that we are in. I sometimes wonder what Gore would have done after 9/11. He would still probably being trying to figure that out. Quote

allthumbs Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 I don't know anything about Cheney. Vice Presidents are worthless fucks anyway...who cares? Quote
CrazyFlattlander Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 I might be a republican, but I not a fan of Cheney...You got me there on that one. Quote

You hit the proverbial nail on the head with that statement Dwayner! They're angry. They're white. And they're liberal. GW in 2004! Condoleeza Rice in 2008! Quote

He's appointed an attorney general who is a member of the Nazi party and the KKK. Bush is not capable of doing anything good. Like I said earlier Bush sucks dead donkey dicks Fairweather you're a pretty angry guy from some of the stuff you write. Quote
CrazyFlattlander Posted May 29, 2003 Posted May 29, 2003 Do you mean fascist? No I don't think so. Just look at the diversity in his cabinet. Also, this latest tax cut makes at least 3 economic recovery programs that he has signed off on. I can't remember a President in the last 20 years that did not raise taxes, let alone cut them. Also, you might recall that no action has been taken by Bush without Congress approving it. Even when the democrats were in control. He is a sted fast Republican who loves democracy. Don't mess with Texas! God help Bin Laden if he would have crashed planes into buildings in Dallas or Houston. Quote
AlpineK Posted May 29, 2003 Posted May 29, 2003 Yes I did mean fascist. Asscroft is a Nazi. All you republicans are suppose to be for State rights, however Asscroft has used his office to block OR's assisted suicide rule and CA's medical marijuana law. Both of those laws were initiatives passed by the state's residents. The tax cut that just got passed is all for rich people. There are two types of republicans, rich people and suckers. Quote

AK, You write "Bush sucks dead donkey dicks" and then tell me I write "angry stuff". Are you for real? At least Mattp can articulate his position without the childish banter you throw about. I wasn't aware Ashcroft was both a NAZI and KKK member! Can you please send the documentation? I find it extaordinary that this story has escaped me. I gotta listen to NPR more often! Quote
AlpineK Posted May 29, 2003 Posted May 29, 2003 I write angry stuff to amuse myself and others. I'm not saying I don't, but you are in denial about the angry stuff you write. I'm not always in the mood for a well ordered debate. So kiss it. Quote

Well, seems to me like the new tax cut is going to benefit anybody that is married and/or has children. I am not in that boat, but I did hear something about $400 rebate for each kid. Also, I think any tax cut would benefit the rich more than the normal person...one, because they pay a lot higher percentage of their income in taxes than normal people. That does not mean it does not help people who need it. Nazi? HUH? Oh, OK...He up holds federal laws that prevent somebody from killing someone or doing illegal drugs. Yep, he must be a nazi. I don't know about out there, but here in Illinois you can go to some pharmacies and get marijuana with a perscription. Yep, still illegal, but nobody cares when you have cancer and are going to die anyway. Quote
AlpineK Posted May 29, 2003 Posted May 29, 2003 It doesn't matter how you feel about medical marijuana or assisted suicide. The point is the state's residents passed a law and Asscroft is using the power of the federal government to change it. If Asscroft was really for states rights he wouldn't do a thing. Quote
Fairweather Posted May 29, 2003 Posted May 29, 2003 Well AK.... I hear that in addition to being very angry, you've cut down more trees than George Bush, John Ashcroft, and Gail Norton combined! Not only that, but I have it from a reliable source that you are (quite) a bit overweight and... you are not a very good skier. Civilized debate? ...I'll give you civilized debate motherfuckerererer. Quote
CrazyFlattlander Posted May 29, 2003 Posted May 29, 2003 Must have been a Nazi in the Carter administration that forced states to raise the drinking age or else they would take away their highway funds. Yeah, Reagan continued this. Federal law always trumps state law. You for gun control? You think it is OK for a state or city to take away your guns? Cause the federal government doesn't and neither does the Constitution. Quote

CrazyFlattlander Posted May 29, 2003 Posted May 29, 2003 Ah, you are an arborist, now I see why you hate G.W.. Yeah his environmental policy leave a lot to be desired. Don't hate. Save the seals, take the smoking out side, stools...nah...a chair fit for a King. Quote
AlpineK Posted May 29, 2003 Posted May 29, 2003 I was in school in Idaho when the Reagan administration forced the state to raise its drinking age. I'm not sure how gun control fits into all this. Quote

I hear you like to turn the stool upside down and impale your anus on one of the legs. Then you try to get old men to buy you drinks and give you tokens in exchange for handjobs. Quote
CrazyFlattlander Posted May 29, 2003 Posted May 29, 2003 For the 8 years that Clinton was in office, there were a lot of towns out here in Illinois that banned firearms. Now that Bush is in office, there are not anymore towns following in those foot steps. So there is your state rights. Do they have the right to take away your guns when the federal government and the Constitution say you can have them? Nope. That was a democratic policy that took away people's 2nd amendment rights. I don't see an amendment that says you can smoke weed or kill someone that wants to die. So, see the light and move over to the right a little. Quote
AlpineK Posted May 29, 2003 Posted May 29, 2003 I hear you've been banned from Trask's ewe of the month club for being a sicko and not grooming the sheap after your done with your nasty business. Quote

Yes there is the 2nd amendment which does trump states rights to ban weapons. Your logic is bassackwards on the rest of your statement. If there isn't an amendment dealing with pot and suicide then a federal government run by folks who claim to be for states rights shouldn't say a thing if a state wants to legalize them. Quote
