hamVP Posted May 1, 2003 Posted May 1, 2003 Greetings! I am pleased to announce the formation of the Hood-A-Month club! I am VP of membership, and am opening up membership in this elite club to the cascadeclimber community. The only requirements are that you climb Mt. Hood every month this year through June. Now for the procedures, rules, and regulations. Sometime in early July, all members will convene at a local brewpub and much beer will be consumed. For the rules, you just need to climb Hood once a month through June. (we don't want to be responsible for people climbing after that, and we don't want to wait until next January to get drunk!) If you've missed a month due to this weather, don't worry! All you need to do is make up the climb, and take a penalty stroke. What's a penalty stroke? It's a climb of Mt. Hood, of course! However, you cannot have more than two missed months, or else that really starts defeating the purpose. Send me an email at ham_vp2003<at>hotmail<dot>com, reply, or send a PM if you want more information or want to join! Happy climbing! Quote
AlpineK Posted May 1, 2003 Posted May 1, 2003 I climbed Hood once, about 15 years ago, and I don't think I'll ever climb it again. Fuck you and your club. Quote
