    McCain's VP

Colin would have been my pick, but after leaving the Bush Admin, I think he has a bad taste in his mouth for Repubs for a while. Sadly, I feel his chance has passed. He's only 7 months younger than McCain, but by the time the next election rolls around, he'll be considered by many to be too old to shepherd the nation (as will McCain). And that's too bad, because I really like Powell. Powell (Hearts) Obama Talk about Cabinet potential! As I said, Colin has a bad taste left over from Bush.

    McCain's VP

That would be my pick, but I don't think McCain's that smart, and it probalby would gall him to work with her. But what a counter to Obama/Biden that would make, eh? History would made no matter what the election results.
  5. mebbe you need to reload your sybian and reboot the gumnut...
  6. Patrick, There's a really nice search function on this site. It's in the upper right corner of every page. But I'll go easy on ya since rob already pointed you to 5K's recent trip and Bug provided you the link to same.

glutton for punishment, eh? same here, but in different circumstances...
  8. I think I see where you're going with this one, but I would posit that warm chocolate and/or caramel sauces would work better than frosting in this regard...
  9. must be innundated with hits eh? Just tried again. Same message. This had so better be fucking worth it whenever I finally get through...

  11. Are you suggesting that we're a tad late on starting our speculation thread?
  12. Seriously! How did Mr. Selkirk make it out of the 2nd grade without knowing that?

I am familiar with the roadway. My folks still live in Front Royal. Bummer to hear this, man. Does this move your European relocation any closer?

What are ya working on, Rudy, now that the Tacoma Narrows bridge is finished?
  15. Took a minute and only got to the halfway loaded point. I have no time for this, no matter how funny it might be.
  16. Did they look like this? This pic must have been taken somewhere in Silicon Valley, ehe? Not necessarily. My wife's tits are that big. "And they're real, and they're spectacluar!"
  17. takes too fucking long to load.
  18. Misery Thanks. I didn't read that one, but opted to see the flick when it came out. The last SK book I read was The Stand, about 30 years ago. Chilling... Oh, Sobo, you should read the unabridged The Stand. The first one released when you read it had stuff cut out or maybe he just went back and added with the later one. I can't remember which, but I love that book! He added stuff to the later (1990) version that he had left out of the earlier (1978) version that I read. But by that time, a dozen years later, I was done with reading Stephen King books. I had moved on to James Clavell and Tom Clancy by then.
  19. Now yer talkin'...
  20. WTF, Jennifer Aniston wears a navel ring? Cool! Looks like she got some help on her front end, too...

  22. I don't care about the comparisons with Jack. In either movie. It's that other Stephen King book/movie about a writer and his number one fan that gives me nightmares. I'm not up on my Stephen King readings. Which title is that?
  23. I have been know to lead many astray. The Pianoforte Incident... sounds like a title for a spy thriller or sumpin'.
  24. I knew that, ya ninny. But take special note of the graemlin after my suggestion of The Shining . Clearly, I was joking witcha, and also found the comparison between Jack and Melissa somewhat humorous.
  25. it is right - rarely used, but right. look it up. Checked my huge tome (2,000+ pages) of the RHD. I humbly stand corrected.
