i think the things that gets me is that since the 9/11 incident people seem to be more patriotic. why does it take a major cathosptic event to bolster support for one's county? i personally have always believed in the greatness of the United States of America and i always will. the riding of the emotional wave seems to me in some cases insulting. i would say that if someone were affected deeply by those events of a year ago, tha climbing for free for an hour or so doesnt reall offer any healing....... bandwagon patriotism?? is that what it is called. i read and hear about all the free and reduced priced things that will occur this coming week and in so many ways, it saddens me...where were these things after other horried events throughout us histroy? did i miss the free day at vworld after the la riots? or the unabomber acts of terriosm? what would make 9/11 any more significant if it were not for the terriost act? i do not think offering free gym climbing as a gesture to the people who were greatly effected by the tragedy. offer support to those people bys supporting your country and believe in its ideal, not some free crap that should and is free in other more enjoyable mediums.

actually lg.....i would tend to agree with cheppe... i do not know the vworlds intentions, but seeing that is does ironicially enough fall on 9/11, it really makes a person wonder?

i dont filter either.....filters are a waste of money and weight.... you bring pillz as back up, so why double up on stuff?? i rend not to treat water at all, unless it is in a heavy use area or i know caveman has been there recently. if you dont like idonie taste then use the netraulizer.....or emergen'c packets.... plus filters clog, they get the inside of your pack wet and use have to replace the filter portion of it and they are not always gauranteed to work

i have to agree with dfa....any person watching this show that is above the age of 6. needs to have either their dipers changed along with the tv channel or go out and meet a person or two in whom they can tell their secret fantasies too... come on people what has/is tv doing to your minds...this is entertainment!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

that reminds me of a joke.... a trask is takin a leak one morning and he notices a red circle on his member...freakin out he calls dr flash amazing and sets an emergancy appointment. getting there the doc inspects trask...hmms and haws...and goes no problem...gets out some stuff and takes care of it. doc goes that will be $15. trask pays the good doc, relieved that it was nothing serious. a couple days later trask is takin another leak and sees a brown circle on his member. this time he is a bit more freaked out. calls the doc in a bit of a tirade. sayin he didnt fix him and that there is now a brown circle on his member. dr flash amazing tell him to come in immediatly. so when trask gets there, the doc takes a look...hmms and haws some more and then takes care of it. dr flash amazing goes that will be $20. trask goes wtf man? last time you only charged me $15. the good docs reply........ lipstick is easier to take off then chewin tabaccy!!!! we met some nut on potash road outside moab a couple of years ago.....he had cats wandering all around his squatter camp.....said they killed snakes and rats...only thing dogs were good for was the food....then he told us once the us was destroyed maybe our rappelling skills might be hlpful to reach the new cliff dwellings... he had some great reading too.... if i can find the pic i secretly took of him, i will post it...

lworthless slabs are special...most of the newer ones are contrivences made by viktor kramer...he and his buddies put alot of work into making these climbs...... darrington is sumpin totally different.....a little less sport bolted...but the bolts are there spaced between heady blank moves....the moves in lworth slabs are much more edgy compared to the smearing that dtown requires
