  1. It's a different study fucktard. This one used 700 salmon.
  2. How about this study synopsis: "Moreover, most farm-raised salmon sold in the United States comes from Chile -- and the pollutant level in it was not too much higher than that found in some wild-caught salmon." http://edition.cnn.com/2004/HEALTH/01/08/salmon.pollution.ap/ What now Ice Pick boy?
  3. Fairweather is right! Socialism rots the brain! Dru, that's exactly the same data you cited. Either it's representative, or it's not.
  4. Bush is against any reduction in emissions it's the reduction that benefits the environment, not the trading scheme. As for Chilean salmon - why don't youread the data for the report you cited? Chilean salmon had the lowest concentration of any tested.
  5. Circuit Boards don't aid digestion Dru! Thanks Dru, I really didn't know what PCB's they were referring to (PCB = Printed Circuit Board in addition to polychlorinated biphenyl) Chilean farmed salmon (and there are a large number of salmon farms) is very low in PCBs. The Terrapass is a more expensive Sierra club sticker (but freemarket approved!) for your SUV. Comeon - emissions trading is a scam for companies like enron, or the brokerage houses. It doesn't do much to decrease emissions, but it puts a hefty comission in a large number of palms.
  6. Circuit Boards don't aid digestion Dru!
  7. Of course there is farmed fish
  8. WTF is the burden of proof with doping now? Half of it's "elevated levels of xxxx"
  9. Wow what a discount! Oh, no it's not. I can buy the same tent new for $340 shipped
  10. Or you could go with a rope bag.
  11. The original poster was asking about battery life for their P&S. I don't think they want an SLR. As for P&S pictures not being any good - bullshit. Please go on photogeek dick waving.
  12. If you want an SLR. If you want a camera that's portable and that you might actually use while climbing or skiing - get a P&S! I've owned SLR's, I'm looking to buy a D-SLR, SLR's sit on a shelf most of the time for me. What good are better pictures you don't take? If you are worried about battery life with yur rechargeable battery, buy a 2nd battery and charge it before you go. Cheaper than a disposable camera, or a new camera.
  13. But they aren't Texan.
  14. Dechristo - STFU!
  15. Shhh! Hypocrisy is in the eye of the beholder.
  16. If i knew that I'd be snorting blow off the ass of a hooker.
  17. Kicked out of the '99 Giro for failing a blood test. It'd be wonderful if Lance didn't dope, I just don't find it probable.
  18. It certainly seems most are now. Baseball is proven, football, soccer, olympics(track and field), a good portion of cycling(see prior scandals), even autoracers - one estimate has 1/3 of the F1 starting grid on cocaine.
  19. I have a Kodak DX6440. Li disposible battery, 800 pictures, 2 months.
  20. Vireque, Pantani, Hamilton never tested positive until the end either. Neither side has any "proof", the only facts that exist are that he hasn't failed any of the current tests, which don't prove he isn't a doper.
  21. I'm not sure that'd be a good soup base.
  22. jon- that's bs "Armstrong's recovery was genuine, and he was clearly impatient to get back on the career track from which he'd been so rudely derailed. But he had another, equally compelling reason to return to his bike: his Cofidis contract. He still hadn't ridden for the team, and as the 1997 racing season began, team officials wanted to know whether they could count on him. Armstrong's agreement with Cofidis was subject to a medical examination he had yet to take when he was diagnosed with cancer. Now Cofidis asked that he be examined by its doctors, a not unreasonable request, especially considering that the company was paying Armstrong $1.25 million a year. But Stapleton would have none of it. "They forced our hand," Stapleton contends. "No way were we going to let them subject Lance Armstrong to a medical examination in front of the world. At the end of the day, we struck a deal. If Lance didn't ride in four races in 1997, they had the right to terminate his contract."" http://outside.away.com/magazine/0498/9804lance_4.html Why is it sad when someone gets accused of doing what everyone else is doing? Oh, because he's our hero
  23. The military choppers write the time off as training.
  24. And I thought this thread was about the White House and Karl Rove
  25. We all thought Tyler was legit before he got caught.
