  1. Stiff rim, excellent quality: http://canyoneeringusa.com/shop/index.php?cat_id=8&PHPSESSID=57b94766d611cc4b1347feac059bb22f
  2. Phew. I was scared about you mike. From one of the "25 toughest guys in america" to ... wildflowers? At least you haven't dropped off the deep end.

    All aboard!

From the software developer who bitches about job security

    All aboard!

No, I never assumed there was any difference besides quality of work and prices that differentiated us vs. them. There are substantial societal benefits to having industry in the USA. Keep believing in the Potemkin revolution PP!

Bullshit. They are only indistinguishable for morons in management and accounting (not to mention libertarian wonks) who assume all goods are fungible - a fallacy bred of ignorance.

    All aboard!

That's what they work for, well slightly more. Their cost structure is substantially less than a US based developer, but they provide much better value than most other offshore houses. I do get the point. What value do you provide to the global economy PP?

    All aboard!

I've met several expatriot software developers. They were born in the US, educated in the US, now travel and develop software in the 3rd world. Not new.
  8. Only the wildebeast, the rest were from Belize.
  9. It's a different study fucktard. This one used 700 salmon.
  10. How about this study synopsis: "Moreover, most farm-raised salmon sold in the United States comes from Chile -- and the pollutant level in it was not too much higher than that found in some wild-caught salmon." http://edition.cnn.com/2004/HEALTH/01/08/salmon.pollution.ap/ What now Ice Pick boy?
  11. Fairweather is right! Socialism rots the brain! Dru, that's exactly the same data you cited. Either it's representative, or it's not.
  12. Bush is against any reduction in emissions it's the reduction that benefits the environment, not the trading scheme. As for Chilean salmon - why don't youread the data for the report you cited? Chilean salmon had the lowest concentration of any tested.
  13. Circuit Boards don't aid digestion Dru! Thanks Dru, I really didn't know what PCB's they were referring to (PCB = Printed Circuit Board in addition to polychlorinated biphenyl) Chilean farmed salmon (and there are a large number of salmon farms) is very low in PCBs. The Terrapass is a more expensive Sierra club sticker (but freemarket approved!) for your SUV. Comeon - emissions trading is a scam for companies like enron, or the brokerage houses. It doesn't do much to decrease emissions, but it puts a hefty comission in a large number of palms.
  14. Circuit Boards don't aid digestion Dru!
  15. Of course there is farmed fish
  16. WTF is the burden of proof with doping now? Half of it's "elevated levels of xxxx"
  17. Or you could go with a rope bag.
  18. The original poster was asking about battery life for their P&S. I don't think they want an SLR. As for P&S pictures not being any good - bullshit. Please go on photogeek dick waving.
  19. If you want an SLR. If you want a camera that's portable and that you might actually use while climbing or skiing - get a P&S! I've owned SLR's, I'm looking to buy a D-SLR, SLR's sit on a shelf most of the time for me. What good are better pictures you don't take? If you are worried about battery life with yur rechargeable battery, buy a 2nd battery and charge it before you go. Cheaper than a disposable camera, or a new camera.
  20. But they aren't Texan.
  21. Dechristo - STFU!
  22. Shhh! Hypocrisy is in the eye of the beholder.
  23. If i knew that I'd be snorting blow off the ass of a hooker.
  24. Kicked out of the '99 Giro for failing a blood test. It'd be wonderful if Lance didn't dope, I just don't find it probable.
  25. It certainly seems most are now. Baseball is proven, football, soccer, olympics(track and field), a good portion of cycling(see prior scandals), even autoracers - one estimate has 1/3 of the F1 starting grid on cocaine.
