  1. What's up with all this talk of next week. Next week is next week. we'll be fighting about that soon. This week Al's is winning (poll on pg 1) right now. I'll go to any of those places, but right now I'm going skiing so haha you suckers. Try and figure it out by early afternoon!
  2. Fool why don't you and Allison get together at any bar in the city except for the bar Pub Club is at. Or show up a few times and someone might be willing to listen to your choice of venue.
  3. So you're one of those antismoke wimps. Mommy my cloths smell like smoke.
  4. Shut up Trask and you too Fool. I've been at some big events at Al's with lots of women. This is a get together for folks interested in climbing. Pub Club is not a dating service.
  5. I'm totally down with a spot in Montlake. I think we should meet up there next week. In the mean time lets talk about what's on the poll. Don't worry Iceguy, I'm just messing around.
  6. Chuck, I hear you. It sounds like a good spot. I'm down with it in the future, but unless there's a major posting blitz, I think you better wait till next week. I won't forget.
  7. STFU Iceguy
  8. Icegirl go vote in the pole. It's way too late to bring up the D&H.
  9. Everyone's welcome.
  10. You're too late sucker. Go cry somewhere.
  11. Well you can, but then you would be forced to show up.
  12. It seems like the Pyramind backers are SOL. From what I read we can go to:
  13. Don't worry there was plenty of powder to go around!
  14. It's all about you Matt.
  15. Right back at ya
  16. Um what's that.
  17. Matt skiing Rip it up Jberg Eldorado from the west
  18. Ok here's another spot Al's on 45th in Wallingford. Beer is cheap, there's no food, but Dick's is just down the street.
  19. The Pyramid place is right next to Safeco field. I've never been there, but a number of folks on this board think it's a good spot to drink. I agree with how you rate Pyramid beer. If you want a real fight then someone needs to come up with an alternate location and then get a posse to back them up.
  20. Well logging roads are a perfect place for a sled.
  21. I'm against banning them , but they have overrun huge areas of the mountains. In the case of our recent trip, we were skiing into an area where 5 years back snowmobilers didn't go. We were not expecting them at all.
  22. My basic point is bc skiing and snowmobiles are incompatible. Some kind of restrictions need to be put in place in the Whistler-Pemberton area, or soon the only folks out in the mountains will be sledheads.
  23. We haven't had a good smack down between skiers and snowmobilers for a while. On a recent trip up to Canada Jordop and I skied into a basin that we thought would be free of snowmobilers only to find a herd of 15 of em. They were noisy and they stunk up the whole basin. I fully expect to see snowmobiles on logging roads and other areas below tree line, but I think the high alpine environment is no place for big noisy machines. At the very least the use should be restricted to a few areas. This isn't a huge issue in Washington State, however the alpine terrain in BC is being overrun. Backcountry skiers take advantage of cars and trucks, but they leave them behind. One of the great things about bc skiing is to experience the silence of the mountains in winter. In reality there is no way that snowmobiles and skiers can use the same areas. In the case of the Whistler-Pemberton area. There are huge areas, with good bc skiing, where nobody will go skiing because they are overrun with snowmobiles. Just because you motorheads can go anywhere doesn't mean you should go anywhere.
  24. Last week at the Alki was fun. This week we could go to someplace like the Pyramid Brewery, or someplace else.......
