Did you ever think that America is bankrolling and babysitting the world because they are worrying about themselves. Trade partners, allies, foreign markets and the such would be lost. America would suffer just as bad as the countries affected. So go ahead.....MAKE MY DAY -

Congrats on the summit with Fred but would you still have been airlifted in without him? At least with the pack hoarses you still have to hike in...unless you ride on top. Must be nice to have enough money to fly in -

If the rangers use the boat to rescue people I can see, but not just to go fishing for fun. And how do you expect me to "mellow out and relax" when a sensative alpine lake is slowly being destroyed

"It will likely never be a classic but it was fun and I will be back." Maybe even without the airsupport... -
I was at the Sphinx cabin the the other day and some rangers and kids came accross the lake IN A POWER BOAT "to do some fishing". When I inquired as the weather or not they are allowed to use the boat for the afor mentioned purpose he suddenly became very defensive and replyed "it's a BC parks boat and BC parks personel". I didn't think planes where allowed to land on the lakes because of gas polution. I was a little mad that they would pollute the lake so they could do some fishing . Anybody know what kind of regulations BC parks has in place about the usesof their powerboats?

quote: Didn't Uemura dissapear trying to solo Denali in winter? If I remember correctly, people thought he might of fallen into a crevasse and perished. If so, its obvious his system worked well.I'm pretty sure they found both his bamboo poles at his camp.
