Beware the crevasse on the south side!

i drive over the pass quite often. it got a frosting up there last week but i expect it to be melted out by now. it was clear of rime before that from what i could see from the highway. the ridge is in pretty nice shape but will be exposed from snow soon if it isn't already.

For anyone who is looking to climb Jefferson soonish.... Here is where the snow becomes too deep to drive through (at least in my car) from this point it is 1.25 miles and 300 feet elevation to get to the TH. Can't say for sure but I'd put it at another week or two of warm temperatures and rain and the snow should be melted out to the TH parking lot.
