FYI... The documentary The Mountain Runners is showing this week in B'ham at the Limelight.. It is about the first American adventure race that covered ~30 mi including the summitting of Baker... The year was 1911. http://vimeo.com/40187150 http://pickfordcinema.org/page/Playing-PFC.aspx#1125 It has been selling out so call for tix if interested... I work with the wife of the nephew of the race's first winner I'm kinda currious if any CC historians have any knowledge of these races
