I am the admin of 3 successful web forums, there is no need to name them as that is not my purpose. I mention that because visiting this forum is bittersweet. There truly is some invaluable information here but it is lost as is credibility of the site, when the trash talk ... ...Hey, how did that cock get up my ass?

As a long time member of the Speakers Bureau of the ACLU of Washington specializing in the loss of our civil liberties since 911, I would like to formally protest the unconstitutional erasure of posts on this forum, and modification of quotations without the author's permission, often using language offensive to impacted turds, the mentally disabled, animal lovers, and other protected groups. If the moderators on this forum, which is free and open to all mankind regardless of race, creed, species, sexual preference, cross-species preference, mixed species lineage, and mental capacity, do not cease and desist in this unbecoming (don't take this personally) assault on our most cherished freedoms my organization will be forced to extract $25,000 per incident. I have already filed a complaint with our national office in New York and our lawyers are standing by for the let's roll signal. We recommend that a motivational speaker who has run three successful forums be brought in to mitigate this fascist abuse of power. Thank you and God Bless.

I gotta tell ya folks, I came here to gleen some info about 3 men that have captured the attention and hearts of millions of people in manycountries.... Gotta tell ya folks, and I tell alotta folks alotta stuff because I run 3 successful web forums and grew up on a 50 million acre ranch where we spent millions of dollars to do what you guys have done with your site even though it needs my input to really take it to the next level, although I'm not a climber, so more impacted turds such as myself will visit and provide more helpful advice, especially to the unbecoming moderators who soil their sports reputation by talking about ass fucking alot and don't seem to carry themselves as they would in their profession, particularly because they're in the upper echelon. I'm just trying to bring you guys up to the kind of nobility and bearing I've seen in movies like Vertical Limit where brave men do heroic deeds without any swear words. No offense and God Bless.

God is a great big fuzzy kitty way up in the sky. Kitty loves you.

God went on permanent disability leave after shitting us out.

No he doesn't. But he is waiting PATIENTLY for you to not hate him. He sure waited patiently while those climbers died. Very patient diety. Very patient.

Kelly gets AMS. The party is slow. They bivvy together. Next day, the other 2 head for the summit. Weather comes in, they get lost, and fall. Kelly has to stay put to wait for his buddies until the weather is so bad he can't move either.

God hates me.

The first rule of Spray is to entertain. Clearly, fiddycent is either incapable, or unwilling, to bring something of this nature to the party. Then again, neither does Kevbone, but at least he is trying so very hard.

Rescue Statistics: Let's outlaw hiking $ boating
tvashtarkatena replied to tvashtarkatena's topic in Climber's Board
The bottom line is; this issue is peanuts compared to the gross waste in government, particularly federal, expenditures. In fact, this is one area, considering how much volunteer labor is employed and how vital the results are for the folks involved, that ISN'T a waste of money. This government has botched Iraq, Katrina, the Medicare bill, the list is endless, to the tune of hundreds of billions, and this rescue is a problem that requires our urgent attention? This rescue captured so much national attention because a) it was a slow news week and b) it coincided with some historically large storms (DISASTER!), which always sells pretty well. The minute something else catches the press's attention (that we're not already sick of), that'll be the last we'll hear of it. -
I shit on the baby jesus.

Rescue Statistics: Let's outlaw hiking $ boating
tvashtarkatena replied to tvashtarkatena's topic in Climber's Board
No guessing about it. They did, and they usually do. Most of rescuers were either volunteers or would be on the clock anyway, ie, they're already paid for. -
A Pickets descent down McMillan Creek. Beaver ponds, hornets, nettles, rapids, slide cedar for 15 memorable hours. Please don't ask why we didn't go over Luna. It was a long time ago, and I don't want anymore flashbacks.

The Macaw tribe would have to be rallied.

Appreciate the sentiments, but you should first know that, as a former Catholic, I'm pretty familiar with Christianity and the gospels. In my view, belief in God has nothing to do weighing risks, as does climbing; it has to do with raw truth, even if that truth is tough to take. Some believe, some don't, some don't know, some don't really think about it much. I don't believe, and it is the most informed and contemplated decisions I've ever made. As for the historical basis for the gospels; we know that many Biblical figures, including Christ, existed, but the historical accuracy of what actually occured during that time is sketchy at best, and hard evidence of miracles, such as the resurrection, is either non-existent or highly questionable. Most of today's Christian doctrine was created long after Christ's death. Many religious leaders have faced persecution, not just Christ. Mojammed had to flee Mecca for Medina because of persecution. Does the fact that Mojammed was a wealthy merchant and later became a political leader make him less of a legitimate prophet then Jesus? Christ's persecution and asceticism, by themselves, make him no more or less legitimate than any other leader of a movement. His message was, in itself, mostly a positive one, but also perhaps a naive one, considering humanity with all it's faults. His persecution could just as easily indicate that he was not politically savvy enough for his time to survive past his 33rd birthday. In any case, Jesus and God are two different things. One was a man, the other is pure conjecture.
