Stefan, I don't know why you and so many other Luddite hippies believe our intelligence and science are not just as much of our nature as a lion's teeth or a polar bear's thick coat. Technology is part of our heritage, provided to us by the same mechanism as our upright posture and warm blood. Should we give those up, too?

Hi bill. I already posted a list of his most recent votes I find objectionable; do try to keep up. Additionally, I direct you towards the many statements he himself has made regarding his belief in "free market environmentalism" and his belief that the federal government should have nearly zero oversight over financial trading. Why dont you exercise your google muscles? They're readily available, since he is actively pursuing these platform issues. Wikipedia has links and references to this, also. I agree with you, though: I dont think he's a racist, though it's a sad testament to krvbone's lack of research and critical thinking skills that he hadn't even heard of such allegations.

But you already HAVE been duped, because Ron Paul IS one of the evils. Ron Paul has appealed to your pacifism in order to finish the GOP's agenda, and done it so effectively that you are actually convinced that repealing all environmental regulation is a good thing. Mt. Doom??? Im sorry, but you ARE a retard. I always hoped maybe you were just simple and misguided, but you truly are a tool of the establishment, and clearly easy to decieve. I feel bad for you. take care of yourself, and dont vote too often.

Stefan seems to not have been taught that vaccines eventually eradicate the virus, assuming everyone takes them. people in America don't need the polio vaccine anymore, for example. 200 vaccines? Lol. Fail.

I will write him in and sleep well that night. So you can overlook his Republican, pro corporate & anti environment agenda just because he's an isolationist? Sad. if you dont mind throwing your vote away, why have you refused to look at any third party candidates? There are plenty of small party and write in candidates who are anti war but not anti environment. But you already said in another thread that you aren't capable of seeking any third party candidates out for yourself, and would require me to list them. Pathetic. Why does it bother you so much, Rob? Because I think Ron Paul is about the worst possible thing for our country, and i'd like to believe kevbone isn't criminally retarded, but as yet he has failed to even simply acknowledge any failings of the man. Its a devotion that resembles religious fervor, devoid of reason, and I just wanted to give the bone the benefit of the doubt, and a chance to clarify his positions, because I couldn't imagine he was sincerely that misguided. Clearly, I misjudged him! It is bizarre to me that some people seem unable to see what is placed before them. Its like Ron Paul fans are bewitched! And bill, bones natural companion in lunacy, is convinced reports of Paul's anti-environmentalism is just "misinformation." I dunno, I guess it just upsets mr to know that people this retarded actually exist. I'm used to people responding to truth and logic.

When was Gitmo closed? Oh...wait it wasn't. And we do not have national health care. We have a penalty imposed if you dont have health care. Where in the constitution does it say the federal government has the right to force the American people to buy a product? Good on Obama for getting DADT gone. and your solution is to get behind a man who thinks there should be no environmental or financial regulations? Good thinking. Who will you vote for in the election, assuming paul does mot win the nomination?

How do you think we evolved?...and do you think we are evolving? I am vaccinated...and I recommend it...but I also recognize the long term setbacks it causes. Someday in the future humans will need 200 vaccines...where there used to be none...and we accepted death as a part of life. Darwiniasm sucks. Death brings life. By this logic, we should strive to be as unhealthy as possible, for the good of the species. Time to put the bong down

No, I slam you for wanting totally retarded, completely damaging change. BTW, ROn Paul is part of the establishment, too. Also, "incumbents?" There is only one incumbent. Not plural.
-
Actually, Ron Paul doesn't want to rebuild the car.
-
The enforcers of laws are corrupt, so let's just repeal all the laws!!! derp
-
You're dumb enough to be Bone's spirutal blood-brother. Yeah, we're in debt! Might as well cancel the EPA and financial regulations, too, while we're at it!! YAHOO!!! shouldn't you be out pawing your guns or something?
-
Also, you have to understand, bone, that Ron Paul is not saying "let's cancel the EPA and rebuild it." He's saying, "There should NEVER be an EPA. There should NEVER be federal environmental regulations." That's QUITE different. How the FUCK could you be on board with this guy? Just cause he's anti-war? Jeez, you make bad choices.

"The FDA, EPA and other agencies are compromised and unless you know of a candidate (congress as well) that will ACTUALLY work to repair them they are more harmful than good. Big money owns them and populates them with their people. Noticed the lack of white collar crime prosecutions lately? And noticed that agencies like the FDA and EPA seem far more interested in harassing independent farmers than Monsanto? I would love to see them fixed, but that isn't in the cards. So I think right now the answer is to toss the ring back into the fires of Mt Doom and start over. In the meantime the less corrupt states will have to takeover fora bit." You're right! We should vote to repeal clean water laws and emissions regulations, too, then!!! God, you're dumb. So you want to rebuilt to EPA? Sounds good. Sign me up. But why do you want to FUCKING REPEAL THE REGULATIONS? That's like saying the police department is corrupt, so let's cancel all the laws. GOd, you make my fucking head hurt.
-
Hey, sure, I mean maybe he wants to destroy the EPA and allow pharmaceutical companies to sell whatever they want without any federal oversight, but at least he's anti-war! It's almost enough to make me overlook his plan to completely remove all financial regulation, too, right Bone?
-
God, you're dumb. Are you really saying that humanity should avoid using the innate intelligence bequeathed it by nature? That's basically our only gift, and you're saying that a healthy ecosystem says we're not supposed to use it? It sounds like you didn't understand evolution at all. Did you pass that class?
-
Picking Ron Paul because he's anti-war is like picking Hitler because he's a vegetarian.
-
False. Who told you that lie, youtube? Many of the candidates lack legislature experience entirely. For example, John Huntsman has NEVER voted on an act. He was a governor (and ambassador). I believe Gingrich has already resigned before the war, also. Also, Perry and Romney probably have limited legislature experience, if any -- I'm too lazy to check. And that's not counting the third-party candidates, of whom MANY are against the war, the patriot act, etc. Of course, you don't even know these people exist, which is weird since most of them have youtube videos. So, as usual, what are you fucking talking about?

You must have not read much about him, then. Do you only get your news from youtube? everyone else knows more about Paul than you do Just in case you did not read my "entire" post. Actions speak louder than words. You also said you hadn't even heard of this before. Don't you investigate your candidates? Holy shit.

+1 It's a shame that so many of my liberal counterparts are total luddites.

You're confusing conservatives with Republicans.

I think the whiskey is what led to the posts.
