good for you. I'm sure millions of poverty-stricken families appreciate your sympathy. Once upon a time, I was extremely poor. My wife and I relied on government aid to pay for the birth and health of our infant children. I'm grateful for that. I don't think it made my vote any less important than anyone elses. Everyone should have a say. To say otherwise is the most unamerican thing I've ever heard.

Yeah! Let's start arbitrarily disenfranchising people, and then we can eventually get people we disagree with to stop voting. Hey, I know! Let's start with the poor! Then we can take away their government aid and they can't do anything about it! They're all a bunch of street rats and riff-raff anyway. Plutocracy, baby! Yeah!

  4. A smart guy once said a bunch of wise things about vegetarianism. I can't remember his name...he also had some weird theories about relativity.

JFK is to Bush as Vietnam is to Iraq? Just saying.
  9. fuck that, the damn rope is expensive. I would hope he would be kind enough to untie. CBS -- hauling systems are easy. I think a more challenging scenario is an unconcious leader, more than half a rope out. I bet there are lots of seconds in the alpine who wouldn't know how to handle this.

  13. wtf is the problem? Are you saying nobody should climb that route because it might upset a hiker? Or are you saying that nobody should TR it so it doesn't become popular? What are you saying? Damn the man. Nice TR, sounds like fun!

The fair totally rocked. You missed out. The kids had a blast, running around half-naked and shoeless. There's still a bunch of festivals you can hit up. You could hit up the summer meltdown or the NW Reggae festival in August. I still haven't decided which I want to go to -- I can only do one cause I've got to leave time for climbing and shit. I think there's the string summit sometime at the end of August -- kind of a bluegrass thing.
  16. Wish I could make it, kinda long drive though
