I live there, and there is no snow in town right now. We climbed Borah 2 weeks ago and there was a good deal up there already and probably a lot more now. I climbed Scout Mountain on Saturday and the conditions were still great... only at the very top did we find ourselves punching holes...while following giant moose tracks! Massacre Rocks is only a little south of town too. For reason it is much toastier there than anywhere else in the area. Have fun!

I left my Leatherman there on Sunday...probably near those three bolts (TR area). It's a bright blue Juice model. Thank you! (will make delicious cookies for the returner!)

I'm looking to buy a stove to use in South America...Argentina, Chile, Patagonia... Does anyone have a recommendation on one that has worked well for them? Was one type of fuel more accessible than another? I am considering the Whisperlite...(good or bad on this one???) Thanks!

Bill...yeah he did. I picked him up from the ER on Monday night (his second time there that day). A few broken ribs, a really stiff neck and very befuddled (even for Larry standards normally). Poor guy... Ah, Bill you missed it...I am pretty much soaked -
