  1. So it's about suffering then? The "hero meter" is driven by how much blood you give, and spill. Is that it? The guy doing requisitioning followed his orders as dutifully as McCain. So did the foot soldier who was lucky enough to not get captured by the VC. But they're not quite as "heroic", is that what you mean?
  2. Does this pic get you all tingly? No but this sure does: I nailed that shut.
  3. Ok. Is he more of a "hero" than the guy who spent all of Vietnam doing requisition? Or working as a mechanic on helo's? We can all empathize with the torture he endured, but that doesn't necessarily make him understand war more than the guy who wasn't tortured. And it certainly doesn't make him more qualified to be president. And I don't think one has to have fought in a war or have served in the military to have a valid and cogent understanding of what war entails and/or how to deal in foreign relations. In fact I'd probably prefer as president someone who hasn't spent their whole life caught up in direct or indirect conflicts.
  4. Sure... use some more hyperbole. That is the answer. Sounds like you don't have an answer. I'll be waiting.
  5. There's plenty of real heroes in the military KKKKK- as there are in all parts of society; on the other hand, simply being in the military doesn't automatically make one a "hero"- or are you really that enamored by authority? I don't have a problem with the military, I have a problem with the "leaders" who control it. If that makes me "hate America" (talk about hyperbole ) then so be it. But it also makes you a raging hypocrite for all your "don't trust the government" rants while you insulate that same government from criticism in regards to the use of military force- which has some considerable impacts, like, death, for example. The smart ass response/re-paraphrase of your above comment would be: you love the image of personal power the US military gives you as a citizen of a country that could annihilate any other that you'll give the government a free pass to run our great country right off a cliff.
  6. Lack of respect for military heroes is something I'll never understand... ...nor the urge to support any use of the military the government sees fit, lest one appear to be unpatriotic. Yes, regurgitate that same hyperbole once more; we might actually believe it. So you're saying the government is always right, then... is that it?
  7. I see your future as an aspiring philosopher is progressing well.

  10. Between US military and financial backing of: Contras, Pinochet, The Shah, Suharto...shall I go on?...and the fact that the US government- along with the anemic UN- essentially stood by during Rwanda and ignored it, it would seem that trying to deflect or otherwise blunt criticism of US foreign policy by highlighting malicious or ignorant actions of other countries is just putting nationalistic pride ahead of reality. The "they did it too" or "they were worse" argument- you can do better than that. You know, there is a big difference between criticism of one's country versus criticizing the foreign policies enacted by our so-called leaders. You, as one with no love for government should be able to make this distinction I'm sure.
  11. Whatsamatter Zod, Jorel wouldn't suck you off? I'm pretty sure "Superman" is a poster on here. Will he save us?!? I didn't know you needed saving lardass. Well according to you, sales of men's knee pads are about to drastically increase. But whatever, I don't need a molecule chamber to deal with you...
  12. Can someone link that retarded superman picture he always posts? While we're at it, that would take care of the "General Zod" problem we're having too.
  13. You're in luck, pink will be along soon enough.
  14. Superman will be here soon, asshat. Enjoy your brief taste of power before you go back to your old life of sucking cock in the park for wine.
  15. Assuming the requirements were "under 10 inches", then no, I wouldn't have been there. Anyway, have fun looking at dicks on the internet.
  16. Now WTF language are you speaking, chump?
  17. Hey Zod, since you can fly, do you even bother with climbing?
  18. Whatsamatter Zod, Jorel wouldn't suck you off? I'm pretty sure "Superman" is a poster on here. Will he save us?!?
  19. Whatever, Kojak. All those communist languages sound the same and have too many consonents. You still didn't answer my question, though.
  20. tebe razom iz tvoyeyu povedinkoyu mozhno lehko zrozumity - ty prosto prokovtnuv zabahato moskals'koyi spermy. Does Russian have no capital letters?
  21. I hear you, brother. Me, I forgot to call your mom back the next day like I promised.
  22. I went. No TR - another routefinding failure. There is snow in the gulley to needle pass and it is mostly continuous to the notch. It's pretty hard stuff, even when we descended in the afternoon. I had aluminum crampons which worked fine. We rapped down the top part to speed things up, and had to face in for all of the steep stuff. I think you might have been a little too far to the "right".
  23. Ahhh. It's time to relax with one of these:
  24. Think of it as a blessing. I do. That has a problematic side too... JWZGAWyb1p8
  25. Not tonight, 5K. Gotta give the ol' liver a reprieve sometime, ya know... BS. Drinking is like any sport- you gotta stay in shape.
