Have a Jansport in like new shape for ya for like $100 and will deliver anywhere in the seattle area. It doesn't fit unless you have a long body or are at least 6ft tall. It's the endeavor 8000 model with the likeness of Ed Vistuers on it.. what he heck. It's damn big and light. I think it's like 4lbs. Check out RMI for more information. That is where I purchased it last spring.

Would love to do some back country skiing.. not to shabby a skiier.. but all lift stuff. Didn't a double diamond ever skeeeeeeeeeer me. Now a good avalanche sure as hell does.

Love the Mammut... champ... just be sure the wind isn't blowing from the right side for long... damn near froze the end of my D*&(& off on hood. Had to stuff a pair of gloves into them to keep my friend from freezing.. I know 45 mph wind isn't the standard but... It is my pee pee peeve. If you decide to go with these I will say that the standard length is a bit long. I do believe they make a short version which I wish I had purchased. I'm thinking about having my altered to fit a bit better. Other than that little bit of problem.. I love them.. Warm enough for most stuff and they move well.

On Whidbey here.... Very little rock.. some at Erie. Most Alpine stuff. Baker, Sahale... Raindier and so forth. Wouldn't hurt to get out and see... Live on North End.
