Yea, when they are going, the desert fairly comes alive. But just for moments. We were down there a few years ago when the 100 yr rains came through and it was absolutely amazing.

Its been a little bit, but horse camp was less than 1.5 hours, helen lake was another two(could be done faster methinks), and the summit could be hit in 3.5 to 4 hrs. Just guesses, but I think that fairly accurate.
