The Good Rain is a decent read. As per one of Eagan's suggestions, I picked up a copy of Theodore Winthrop's The Canoe and the Saddle, the first ed. printed in 1863. Copies from the original publisher are a bit hard to come by, but Ive managed to collect another 1st and a 4th ed. Im looking out for others if anyone has a copy they dont want. Dont own any white satin gloves, so I havent read it yet. Anyone else?
