From what I got a look at yesterday not much. Temps have been in the 90's. Watcha' thinkin' about doin'?

Will I have to break trail from PCT ? I now it's scorchin', but has anybody been up this route lately ?

Thing is,.. none of my bro's are experienced enough for me to bring on a serious climb. I did a bit of glacier climbing, but need some learning/practice at rigging and being roped up as a team.

I jus figured since im solo at the moment, it would give me a better opportunity to pick up where I got left off.

Thanks for the replies,.. Timberline Mountain Guides has some multi-day courses that I was interested in. They got some classes that run till july, anybody here taken a class with them ?

Any suggestions on a good one ? Im really jonesin'to do something this year. I have climbed a bit at smith 5.7's, did St.Helens and an unsuccessful S.E.ridge route at North Sister due to heavy lightning.I am WFR certified got the gear, time and the drive. My best bro/teacher turned tweeker so im kinda left hangin' at this level.

My Montrail Moraines have taken me many miles. A tough boot that will last ya for some time IMO.

I get sweaty palms just thinkin' bout it,.. but once I get into my zone I forget about the height and enjoy the climb.

Hmm,.. I've been up there a bit myself and allways wanted to give it a shot. Jus looked really loose up there.

Well I can feel it ! im really jazzed bout this winter, im really thinking about gettin a board this year. Where can a newbie get set up with a decent board and boots?

Thats what im woundering,the thing here is all my bro's got married got tons of kids and retired to the lazy boy growin a gut. Short of putting a gun to their heads ya jus cant get'em away from the old milwalkee and the tv... Pretty sad..
