  1. Nope. This place sucks up more than enough time as it is Feel free to spread the word though.
  2. hmmm, methings I missed something?
  3. Come on people, we need specific's here. What kind of alcohol, how much, you know the basics. I know vodka has the capacity to induce table dancing, but swimsuit dissolving is new to me!

    Car Insurance

probably, since it sounds like regardless of what you do, they will be paying 50% of the damages on the other guys car. That pretty well bites What type of an accident was it? I had minor fender bender a couple years ago (well, bent my fender, ripped hers off) where the insurance ended up finding no fault and didn't increase my rates. Of course I was hit while stopped at yield sign, and somehow a 3rd party arbiter still ended finding it was still my fault wtf? The whack job was talking on her cell phone driving around the 1 and 1/2 lane wide streets in the u-district and ran into me. I'm not annoyed at all though
  5. Woohoo, they let me drive today!! I wonder if its my birthday?
  6. Saw a whole bunch of pairs of Scarpa Denali's in various sizes (I looked at 2 pair and saw a 6.5 and a 9.5) for $99 in the REI basemenet (where the rental gear is). All seemed to be in new or nearly new condition. Might be the cheapest set of good condition AT boots I've ever seen. Oh, and they're a nice shiny red
  7. Stellars in Georgetown   :moondance: . Hands down the best local Pizza I've had. Great beer tap to boot, friendly wait staff. Starting to drool just thinking about it
  8. I have a friend who climbs there and likes the chimneys. At all costs she must be kept away from the kids to prevent their corruption. Nuf said
  9. How's the Elbow Kellie?
  10. I'm with you. Though it may be a Gin and Tonic night instead.
  11. You obviously haven't been paying attention to anything that Archy says, have you?

    illegal???

I imagine it's something akin to foreign policy, where only the fed's have the right to deal directly with other countries (and by extension their citizen's). While I imagine state's may be able to work under the aegis of the federal government, any actions need to be through them and have the fed's blessing. And apparently this does not. of course I could also just be talking out my
  13. aren't low to mid 20%'s was a healthy percentage for women?
  14. Looks like fibbing's still okay though Well no one on here qualifies as people anyway. Aren't we all just Dru's avatars?
  15. Must be a damn scary thing. My brother in-law is one of those with a peanut allergy, and funny as hell watching my sister badger waitresses about peanuts. That said he did end up at the hospital once because a chef decided that as a "special treat" he'd toss some peanuts into a dish that wasn't supposed to have any Personally, I'm more than happy with my normal barrage of plant/animal/fungus/anything but food allergies
  16. I always thought sweets were better for desert than breakfast
  17. 22 faties
  18. And what do we do with bad muffins?
  19. These young ones might not be going in for hip replacements, but even 20-somethings go to the doctor and dentist. But yeah, whatever, who gives a shit anyway if SB is a leader in paying benefits to part time employees, yeah, they suck for that. Do you shop exclusively at REI too? Oh, you'd be my corporate benefits hero if you did !!!! Starbucks obviously doesn't need my business. However I can think of more than a few coffee shops that have better atmospheres, better service, better coffee, and where my business can actually make an impact. Starbucks is reserved exclusively for when I need an immediate fix and nothing more respectable/desirable is open/close. Lately I'm a big fan of "All City Coffee" down in Georgetown Good coffee, need shop, cute barista's, how can I complain! Especially when it's faster, cheaper, closer to work, more interesting, and serves better coffee to boot
  20. Somehow I've lost two in the recent past?? Not sure how the hell that happened after last weekend
  21. mmmmmm, I stuck to microwave burrito's, ice cream, and scotch myself Gawd i'm pathetic when left to my own devices

So do you like the Laphroaig? Some reviews I've read call it "mediciny" with an "iodine" taste. Bunch of pussies. :-) Very tasty. I would call it mediciny, but it is a little thick/syrupy straight. I usually throw in a couple of ice cubes though which thinned it a bit and it was fantastic. Not quite sure I'm up to drinking it neat yet, can't quite get past the initial shock and down to the flavors

So as I ran out of whisky 2 months ago I picked up a bottle of Laphroaig 10 and a small bottle of Pendleton on the way home, as well as restocked the Gin supply :) Oh, and it's no the Cascade Distillery, it's the Bend Distillery and Cascade Mountain Gin, made with wild juniper berrys! Talk about tasty stuff! Enjoying the Laphroaig at the moment though
  24. No, not really. Your just going to have to try harder! I had at least 24oz of shepherds pie for lunch :) It makes my tummy happy!
