I don't know that you can buy them but they're easy to make! Crusty baguette or bread of some sort 1x Avocado 1x Tomato a few ham slices per person 1 can black beans 1 bunch cilantro lime juice cut bread into lengthwise slices slice tomato and avocado Saute ham, and tomato briefly to warm/release flavor (maybe just a hint of olive oil) Empty black beans into a microwave safe dish and nuke til warm. Squish beans with a potato masher build sandwhich Layer black beans, ham, tomato, avocado, and cilantro, then sprinkle with lime juice. Turn the rest of the avocado into guacamole and serve it with chips and beer :) and don't let the steal them!

Slowly switching to neat. Though I almost need something else to drink with it to keep the whistle wet Tried the Pendleton last night. very smooth, quite pleasant Very sweet aroma. Oh, and Mrs. Selkirk tried a straight shot of the Laphroaig, that was kind of funny

So why the hate for BD? (Personally own primarily DMM in mid sizes, Metolius in Small, WC in very small, and 1 Link Cam which I've been quite happy with, and 1 old #4 BD Camalot cause it was used cheap and big )

For beater glasses, I'd say whatever is cheap and durable. I usually just bring my regular pair of glasses, but also almost always have a pair of prescription sunglasses with me as well. I broke down and bought a pair a couple of years ago as I can't stand driving in bright sun without sunglasses, but I need prescriptions to drive. Ended up getting a pair of Rudy Project and have been very happy. A bit on the pricy end but they have the exchangeable lenses thing, fit well enough to use on glaciers, and have prescription inserts (so in a pinch I can pop the sunglass lenses out, and just leave the inserts in.) With the inserts it should also be able to take just about any prescription. all in all been very happy. i keep thinking I should get a pair of "climbing glasses" though.

Come on people, we need specific's here. What kind of alcohol, how much, you know the basics. I know vodka has the capacity to induce table dancing, but swimsuit dissolving is new to me!

probably, since it sounds like regardless of what you do, they will be paying 50% of the damages on the other guys car. That pretty well bites What type of an accident was it? I had minor fender bender a couple years ago (well, bent my fender, ripped hers off) where the insurance ended up finding no fault and didn't increase my rates. Of course I was hit while stopped at yield sign, and somehow a 3rd party arbiter still ended finding it was still my fault wtf? The whack job was talking on her cell phone driving around the 1 and 1/2 lane wide streets in the u-district and ran into me. I'm not annoyed at all though

Woohoo, they let me drive today!! I wonder if its my birthday?

Saw a whole bunch of pairs of Scarpa Denali's in various sizes (I looked at 2 pair and saw a 6.5 and a 9.5) for $99 in the REI basemenet (where the rental gear is). All seemed to be in new or nearly new condition. Might be the cheapest set of good condition AT boots I've ever seen. Oh, and they're a nice shiny red

Stellars in Georgetown   :moondance: . Hands down the best local Pizza I've had. Great beer tap to boot, friendly wait staff. Starting to drool just thinking about it

I have a friend who climbs there and likes the chimneys. At all costs she must be kept away from the kids to prevent their corruption. Nuf said

I'm with you. Though it may be a Gin and Tonic night instead.

You obviously haven't been paying attention to anything that Archy says, have you?

I imagine it's something akin to foreign policy, where only the fed's have the right to deal directly with other countries (and by extension their citizen's). While I imagine state's may be able to work under the aegis of the federal government, any actions need to be through them and have the fed's blessing. And apparently this does not. of course I could also just be talking out my

Looks like fibbing's still okay though Well no one on here qualifies as people anyway. Aren't we all just Dru's avatars?

Must be a damn scary thing. My brother in-law is one of those with a peanut allergy, and funny as hell watching my sister badger waitresses about peanuts. That said he did end up at the hospital once because a chef decided that as a "special treat" he'd toss some peanuts into a dish that wasn't supposed to have any Personally, I'm more than happy with my normal barrage of plant/animal/fungus/anything but food allergies
