Yes, that Bushmills single malt is great! I picked up a bottle a couple of months ago, and at first didn't like it. It's not as sweet as Irish Whiskey. Then it grew on me. I still have maybe 1/4 of the bottle left, maybe a little less. I've been enjoying it on climbs at base camp - just a 50 ml dram while I watch the sunset and let it sooth away the stiff and sore muscles and relax the mind for the climb the next day. Right now I'm enjoying a dram of Highland Park 12 year. It's peaty and smoky like all island malts, but not as strong as Laphroaig, Talisker or others. It's got a pleasant sweetness as well. They are not being searched. So how will they catch drug dealers? How will they catch illegal aliens? Can't aliens get driver's licenses pretty easily? I question how they are going to catch illegal aliens, especially if the alien is not the driver. How will they catch BC Bud in the trunk? How will they catch terrorists with smuggled plutonium? These things would all be better policed at THE BORDER where they have the authrotiy to actually police these kinds of things. Seems to be working in Montana. I've never seen a more thorough... and frightening passenger and carry-on search than at the Great Falls airport. WTF?

No, I did not ask for it. "WE" asked for it, the collective "you and I and Joe and Jane Citizen". At least have the balls to include yourself in that group if you're lumping me in with them... This strikes me as a horrible abuse of our freedoms, and I am disappointed that it has gone this far and spread outside of upstate NY IMHO this is not worth the cost to society. There is no easy answer to the question of how to best solve this. However, throwing up your hands and saying, "oh well, what are you gonna do" doesn't really advance the ball. Obama will fix everything.
