  1. Will that go over well with the disenfranchised Hilary voters, hmm?
  2. That's what I was wondering about. I figured by "gear" they must have meant "rope" and it fell while they were setting up a rappel. Who knows. These stories are pretty sparse in (the important) details (for climbers).
  3. He/she *is* a roll. Made of jelly.
  4. *** You are ignoring this user *** Toggle the display of this post FOAD, tittie boy. Find someone else to follow around and ankle bite.
  5. Biden's a loose cannon. He's gonna f himself up at some point, probably w/r/t Palin. Hilary could take some well placed shots, but she needs to be careful - choose the timing and nature of the attacks for maximum effect.
  6. Well the fire was just getting going when I climbed it, and it was awesome on Fri night and Sat. But when the winds shifted Sat night and Sun - the day we went out - visibility sucked, and the smoke actually burned our eyes and throats. I wouldn't go with those conditions - just not as much fun.
  7. haven't seen her talk yet. give it a week or so. the D's are talking a lot of shit right now. it could backfire against the Hilary army, and drive them to McCain/Palin. That might actually work in their favor.
  8. We'll see PP. You may be buying your friend a beer...
  9. Regarding Palin: 1) Clearly it's a Machiavellian pick. Except our modern politicians seem to be pretty poor students of him, excepting maybe Clinton. 2) Anytime you pick a person based on race, sex, etc first, and that's what was done here, it's not right, and often a very bad idea. 3) Obama, the "agent for change" picked a "safe" VP - an experienced white male. He didn't shake anything up. The R's had a lot of freedom for their VP pick thanks to that, and they went and decided to throw a "hail mary"? 4) Obama, no experience, so pick an R VP with almost no experience? She's less experienced than BHO. 5) McCain is 72. He could drop dead in a year or two. Can this lady actually step in as president? 6) I think McCain can hold his own against BHO in the debates, but Biden is gonna have a field day, isn't he? I don't know this lady, haven't heard her speak, or anything. Guess we'll see, but those are my initial reactions.
  10. I think that access is closed too though.
  11. Yeah, maybe he could have worn his tarzan outfit and sang wang tang sweet poontang at the convention.
  12. Yeah, the Nuge would have been awesome.
  13. What cracks me up the most are all the hypocrite libtards who constantly claim R's are supposedly sexist, and the first thing out of their mouths when they see McCain's VP pick - are comments on the woman's appearance. Yep, you are the ones you truly respect women.
  14. It's funny - on this board there's a lot of wise cracks about the "10 essentials". Doesn't seem like such a dumb thing to teach people after all.
  15. That's a pretty fuc*ed up thing to say Bob: rude as hell and a DAMN lie. FW has been consistent on his attitudes, he will not vote for a LIBERAL of any color, gender, race or creed. So he won't be voting for Hillary anytime soon either, but not because she wears a dress. All par for the course from ggk.
  16. the word you were thinking of is 'were' damn you porter!
  17. an uknown. ripe fruit for an October surprise.

  24. It's 4:15, Sobo.
  25. not to mention the Si Haystack mission ongoing right now... and I was remarking to myself how quiet it had been all summer... Si Haystack? WTF? This is getting bizarre.
