    WTF?

I am all for FEMA stuff and for assisting people in need. But compensating people who chose not to insure their stuff is simply unfair to those who did.

    WTF?

I hate to sound hardened to people in the face of a disaster, but this sort of thing pisses me off: President Bush on Wednesday boosted federal aid to the fire-ravaged area by signing a major disaster declaration. The move will speed federal dollars to people whose property losses aren't covered by insurance. http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/10/24/fire.wildfire.ca/index.html Why should the rest of us have to pay not only for our own insurance, but also for your shit that you didn't consider worthwhile enough to insure? Pisses me off--it penalizes the people who play by the rules and excuses those who decided that the 52" screen TV was more important than an insurance bill.
  3. Global warming? Or a result of this shit? "All summer, more than a year after the drought began, fountains sprayed and football fields were watered, prisoners got two showers a day and Coca-Cola’s bottling plants chugged along at full strength. On an 81-degree day this month, an outdoor theme park began to manufacture what was intended to be a 1.2-million-gallon mountain of snow."
  4. "Does a digital camera steal your soul too?"
  5. "I'm naked under my suit too, sweetie."
  6. I have never understood why people get so ruffled when another person changes their mind on an issue. Do you really believe yourself to be smarter today than you will be tomorrow? I don't mean changing your mind every stinking day; but come on, as we gain more experiences in life, we change our outlook and our opinions on some things. What's the big deal?
  7. Ah, progress.

    Giardia!?!

I am no medical expert. I read that by using more disinfectants, we are actually creating stronger, more resistant bugs right in our very kitchens. Have you read this? Is is just hype that gullible people like me believe?

    Giardia!?!

There are a lot of nasties you can get from not washing up after doing your business. Alcohol-based hand purifiers are good in a "pinch", butt, good old soap and water should be used whenever possible.
  10. I have a work from home day, and I really should be abusing that... At least I have a window that's open! Got to be thankful for the little things in life!
  11. Phew. Not as bad as we thought.

    Giardia!?!

I also thought Giardia was something you could build an immunity to. I drink from Silver creek regularly, and have had periods of time that I feel a bit not-so-regular, but never anything too bad. I thought I was just getting exposed a little bit and that I was building a resistance to it. Sounds like that ain't true.
  13. Oh wait, what am I saying? I wouldn't eat the fat guy first. I'd wait til his gut shrank so that I don't hit my head on it.
  14. This is a good question. How many people are in the lost party? Are they all equally scrawny that they would need some chubby fucker pretty early in the game? Or, do you save the fat guy b/c he has the best chance of living w/o food? Don't you want someone to tell your story? Plus, he'll finally get all normal-sized and stuff. Tough one...
  15. Yeah, but what a way to go.
  16. automatted? That shouldn't happen if they shave first.
  17. To fit his system? Soylent green!!!
  18. By the way, I put the c*o*unt in country
  19. That's illegal. tsk tsk
  20. I can't wait until the words "carbon footprint" are considered passe.
  21. Obviously Oxy users have more fun. They just don't remember it b/c they are passed out.
  22. So by that same logic bulimics and anorexics should receive free care? No, I think the logic is that if you are unhealthy in any way, you don't get insurance. Insurance is permitted only for people who don't need it. It would please big business immenseley to enact this change. And only people under thirty get life insurance.
  23. Bullshit. People should be charged by the pound. Especially those pregnant people--they are adding to the overall cost anyway. (Discount if they help out all those guys with lactating-MILF fantasys though--stress reliever).
