  9. Same person? Did the "date" involve another person? What if you suffer from a split personality? At least you have a split. Work it, baby.
  10. You aren't really suggesting that you can replace life's romantic experiences with bullshit postings on a climbing website, are you?
  11. And your asking a bunch of socially inept dirtbag climbers from nerd central USA for advice? Nope. Just trolling.
  12. No. I've just warmed up.
  13. I have multiple dates every time I summit.
  14. Good idea--what time? And is anyone heading back to North Seattle afterwards?
  15. Here's a suggestion: Don't climb with a guy who is stupid enough to think a climb is a date. And don't date a guy who thinks climbing qualifies as a date. Jeez, he doesn't even need to push the chair in for you--how can that be a date? And yah making the moves on someone while climbing can screw up a partnership--how can ya hang on while gittn buzy?
  16. At approximately 3:30
  17. Smells like penis-envy. Nah. I'd just be sucking blood instead.
  18. Social engagement for romantic purposes. If it's with a stranger, you charge him for it.
  19. I return the courtesy with, "Thank you".

Even my parents used the "starving children in Africa" line. People know that Africa is a poor continent. Really poor. Not send them some money and fix it poor. Not temporary measures poor. But really poor. And what have we taught this young generation? That they can go to a concert, buy a CD, cast a vote and their civic duty is done. Or do they learn to say that just because they are talking about it, that's something?

The purpose of holding the simultaneous concerts around the world, besides giving a shot in the arm to the careers of several dozen aging pop stars, was to “raise awareness” of poverty in Africa. And what are we to do with all this newfound awareness? Did the concerts actually raise any money? No. Did all that concentrated brainpower come up with a solution to world hunger? No. Did they at least tell those who might want to make a donation to some worthy charity where to send the money? No. So what was the point? So they can have people say that these stars do more for the world than regular folks?
