Can I just say that Ulee is the cutest kid who ever lived?

there is nothing wrong with stretch marks alone. pregnancy is cool, so stretch marks are legit there. as are old faded ones from when a girl got thin and hott after being tubby early in life. there is nothing hotter than a chick that used to have some LBs and then lost weight and got really hott. thats just my opinion though Opinion noted. But it reminds me of people who are all, "Oh, fake boobs are so lame" until they find out the reason the woman has them is b/c she had breast disease and then its all, "Oh, that's ok". Same bullshit, different part of a woman's body that gets pointed out, graded, accepted or rejected. And as for that nastyass cottagecheesiness: Most women over 30 or 35just get that. Sure, not to the degree that an obese woman does, but most of us get it from one degree or another. So if you are looking to get laid when you get older by a woman with some life experience, you may want to relax your unrealistic expectations of us. Oh, and if you want women to stop being so hard on themselves, shy with the lights on, and stressing about diet, then you may want to stop judging them for being human. Just my opinion.

This is not justice. And the title of the thread makes the assumption that women would feel like justice is served when a man is treated as horribly as a woman. So, I'm also looking for new digs. Commuting from Ballard (actually Crown Hill, so that's even farther!) has become too overwhelming and a time suck on my life. I ruled out Bellevue--it scares me. There is no soul in Bellevue. I looked at Fall City, North Bend, and Carnation yesterday. All look like great possibilities, but the subdivision craze is moving its way in. Scary. To all those people who preach "High Density", fuck you. It doesn't work. There are just more people everywhere now.

Well said. I am certainly not an anti drug person! But the "take a pill cuz yer sad" is b.s. Not only that, I feel like we all are so spoiled that we forget to appreciate what we have and what we are. Whenever I come back from a trip somewhere that people work so friggen hard that they have little leisure time and no climbing gear I just feel like I am whiny when I gripe about something in my life. Of course, thinking about other people having less doesn't make me feel any better about my life--but it does make me stop and think.

It all seems a bit fishy to me. I mean, if everyone is getting depressive episodes, I can't help but think: 1. It's an episode, so that means it passes 2. So many people get them, they should be considered normal. Of course people get depressed--we all go through tough times. Sometimes life sucks--your kid dies, you get divorced, you get fired, whatever. You get through it. And when you do, you realize that you can make it through a tough time, so you remember that next time. I wonder if giving people pills to get through these times actually shortchanges them by taking this experience and confidence away from them.
