There is a show up in the Whatcom Museum about the Mt. Baker Lodge, built in the mid-1920s, which burnt down in 1931. The exhibit is a bunch of big pictures. It was built commissioned by Bert Huntoon, who was also responsible for the building of the Mt. Baker Highway. Mt. Baker Lodge in the Seattle Times
