Ha...there is a thread on Backpackinglight.com where @Kili2016 (and others) have posted as well (mostly negative posts it appears from a quick perusal, with a few positive or at least not negative sprinkled in). Not saying anything about Bear Paw...no experience with them. The truth is usually some details are left out (but not always), so again, no idea.
It does appear that @Kili2016 has copy and pasted his rant above there and here, and who knows where else.

Going to be closing down suggestions and creating a poll soon!

I ended up with around 200 miles of trail and back country, and around 56,000 ft of elevation gain from a few more than 12 peak scrambles I did with the dog this year! Looking forward to doing more in 2023....I know some of you probably log way more than this, but considering all the other things I was able to do this year (I started cycling a lot in August, I think I put 1800 miles on the bikes). Was a good year!

Hello, cascadeclimbers.com I hope you are doing well with managing your website
And I Know How much it is time-consuming to write a good blog post for your website but Did you know you can automate your website with a robot?
You can write a blog post automatically without writing a single paragraph. For example, let's say you want to write a blog about Art.
In the software write ( write me content about The best Art ideas for 2023)
Done, the robot gives you an entire blog post, and it is plagiarism-freeAnd you can try it here for free: <redacted> I hope you enjoy it, have a nice day. -
If you're into this sort of thing, I created us a group on Strava:
https://www.strava.com/clubs/cascadeclimbers
Use to motivate each other to train, get better, etc.

Did this fix the security certificate issues with the site? I used to never be able to post links to cc on Facebook or even access it directly through the address bar. I've noticed it is fixed now. Either way keep up the good work!
It was something else I did actually 😉
thank you!

Hi,
I hope everything is going well!
I just wanted to follow up to see if you would consider selling the CascadeClimbers.com Forum and would love to hear your thoughts.
If I reached you by mistake, I would greatly appreciate it if you could direct me to the right contact.
Thank you.

I've got this one from a few, and I was curious WTF is was so I googled and it turns out this is a super scammy company that buys run down website communities and just loads them with ads and all kinds of scammy crap. Anyone who sells to this company is selling their user based to the wolves.... super shady company.

Looking forward to what you all are going to do in 2023...as well as what I hope to do.
Anyone want to share their goals?
I'm going to be doing a bunch of cycling (long gravel rides, fondos, and CX in the fall. Maybe mtb racing in the spring.).
In the mountains I just want to get back up in the alpine with my dog, both in the Olympics and the Cascades. Also have a plan to climb with @JasonG.

I think though, in the mean time, the main thing is this:
QuoteDo as many of the following as you are willing:
1. Sign the change. org petition
https://www.change.org/p/restore-mount-rainier-weekday-winter-access/2. Call or email your senators and house rep.
3. Call your local newspaper and ask when they will report on this.
4. Email the park and voice your concern and ask what they are doing about the situation. I'll post the super's email here when I find it.

That is some really interesting theories you have there. But lucky for you, you don't have to worry about it anymore since you've moved or are in the process. Count your blessings for that and wash your hands of it all. Find some happiness.
Congrats on moving on from all this madness!

But! If using Gmail and you don't get it....it is likely in your spam folder! It was in my test gmail account, so I think it gets there almost by default....

One of the things on my list to fix was why registration hasn't been working for some people. I moved a huge boulder today with a little help from a friend! Basically, unknown to me, Google made changes to their mail system to that people (ready servers) sending emails to their users (if you have a *.gmail.com address) then we had to set up an additional security layer that wasn't needed before. So we determined that and got it put in place (took like 4 hours after our change to actually work) and now we can confirm gmail users again! Big step!
if you are having registration issues please use this to send me a message and we'll get it sorted. I've got that troubleshooting part down now so things will go quicker.

The rich people are at the ski resorts like Whistler, etc. where lift prices have priced out the average person. Do you think some URBAN ELITE wants to earn their turns?
