We are signing the papers tomorrow and moving back before the 22nd. It has been fun having intraweb pen pals, but we are ready for real washington rock with real washington people. -

Nice! look us up in L-town, we are going to retire to the country over there. -
I have waited 4 years to say this: Sold the house, Packed the shit, We're coming home in a couple weeks, home for good. 4 years (7 years for me) has been too long. We are a fun loving couple who enjoy nature. We have dogs, one is a convicted killer. She is amazing, I am with her. Looking forward to meeting some nice people.

Valley of fire is closed to all rock climbing. The story is Ron O. & partner pissed off the rangers and...no climbing allowed, even trad, nada. There are quite a few good routes in the VOF area. I put up a couple new routes out in the desert thattaways, but not in VOF. Nevada. So much rock... so much rock.

Graffiti By Robert Smythe at Nevermind
lancegranite replied to TrogdortheBurninator's topic in Climber's Board
Some might remember "R o b G i l l y b o b" painted on the train bridge west of bigfoot espresso on US 2, a longtime favorite of mine. Some jerk painted "joyride" over it... so sad. -
I'm not too sorry, it was your actions that got you into this mess. Maybe you should have called him and just asked, from what it sounds like, you were asked to do so several times.

Jury gives $14 mil to skier paralyzed at Snoqalmie
lancegranite replied to JayB's topic in the *freshiezone*
Having had a number of friends that have been paralyzed/ killed while skiing/ boarding, I find little sympathy for suing the ski area. Natural and man made hazards exist, use good judgment and a healthy respect for your situation. -
The fact that everyone else respected project man's situation for two long years speaks volumes about his character.

I am good friends with project man, and I think that a few details have not made it to the light here. *Project man has many open projects, and all are welcome to climb and name them. the route in question is an exception, not the rule. * The route in question here involved a LOT of work to clean and prepare, we are not talking about a little dirt and moss here, more like steep loose rock cleaning. *There is more room for more lines at said cliff, ego boy could have done his own new line at any time. *Ego boy really did everyone a favor by "opening up" a line that someone else had put 40 hours of cleaning and bolting into, what a HERO!

I love how this thread gets more crass every day. Wish I had a funny picture of the blood and shit that covered my house! That would be a real laugh!

I knew telling her to post would be a bad idea. My physique could be compared to E.T. Turns out I am prefectly suited for kayaking.

Huh, this is a funny one, the access issues have always been very sensitive, that's why NR has never been made public. What exactly has changed to make this a public area?
