I climbed Meat Grinder on Saturday at about 4pm, and both hangers and chains were there. We had one party of two jump on the route after us.....

It seems like everyone I talked to had a pretty good attitude throughout the day. Climbed with one local climber, which was cool, cause I don't know Lworth that well. At the slide show there was a huge attitude. 'Specially the guys who were ranting about Afganistan. All in all a fun weekend.

You guys did a great job over the weekend. I'm glad the donation went to the WCC. Lots of good info with the clinics and all. Looking forward to next year!!

Before lunch, the lines at green valley, rex and high campbell were horrendous. After about noon, we didn't wait in one line, it was just load and go.

Best part was when midway broke down on saturday. Everyone went down for lunch, never came back up. No more lift lines, anywhere. Green valley , High campbell

Beat the ticket lines at Crystal, then got "stuck" upper mtn when midway shut down around 11:00 . People went to the bottom for lunch, never came back up.... so sad . Oh yeah, got the last chair of the day on High Campbell Stiff and sore, but worth it all!!

What types of snowshoes are people using these days? Are there any advantages of a certain type? Are the MSR urethane type good for the money? They seem like the type that could handle some punishment, pretty light too....
