I'm sorry, but I think that is an inappropriate use of "the metal handsign". STORY

Yes. OP Dovals and BD Ovalwires work fine.

Denton, TX sucked as well. It wasn't so hellishly developed as Plano.

Don't hate the meat-eaters. We outnumber you and we have more muscle mass.

Absolutely. She is obviously one of Dru's alter-egos

It's called Plano, Texas. Mile after mile of flat developed desert. The stripmalls are only outmatched by the overstated housing projects. The overstated housing projects are connected by two different turnpikes (tolled) called the "George Bush Turnpike". I thought that all of the spraying about back-water attitudes and racisim in Texas were a crock of poo. After spending a week in a city suburb of Dallas/Fortworth, I see the truth. It was a surreal experience. I spent one night in a North Texas "Yacht Club" tasting Washington wine out of paper cups. Another afternoon was spent at the Bass Pro shop bar, drinking their beer. We astonished the other patrons by downing a couple of "stouts" without wincing. On the other hand, those MF'ers know their steak. Have you found hell?

Thanks all. I will check out the Matrix boots. The beummer is that I will have to buy them before I try them. It's only $500, right?

Or you can sell the 181's to me. -
If you are only interested in setting pitons and not climbing on them, go to a talus field. Pound away. Keep the pitons tied to something. I lost 2 when removing them. If you actually want to climb on them, well, I dunno. There's the quarry at Index. You may still get lynched. Vantage is a pile of choss. Hammer away!

oh, snap!

Mine says "Do NOT try this at home" When it wears off, I have "How 'bout a nice cup of shut the F#$% up?" on deck. If you want to make them, check out www.stickerguy.com. It's the chepest place to go and their work is great.

I don't know of anything climbable over 1 ropelength on the lower Coleman. In fact, most of the stuff I've been on there is maybe 30m. I have seen some spots that might be long enough to need a midpoint belay, but those walls are pretty unstable.

I would like to start skiing this year, and I only want to buy one pair of boots. My final goal is to put together an AT setup with some Dynafits. Here's my problem - finding a Dynafit compatible boot in US 15. I've looked around, but I can't find anything. The Scarpa Matrix comes in Mondo 32, but they say it's a 14, not 15. If that's not an option, what about other AT boot/bindings systems? Does anyone support size 15 feet? Thanks y'all

Keep in mind that a protected fall can still result in an injury. A friend fell off the lieback on Godzilla and caught his foot behind the rope as he well. He wrecked his ankle. The fall was on steep ground without hitting anything, and he still got hurt. Had he been alone in the alpine environment, he would have been screwed.

Same thread every year. I've spent a lot on gloves, trying to find something that's truly waterproof. I've given up. Most times I wear some Dachstein wool mittens. If it's windy I put some OR overmitts on. I've seen SealSkins which claim to be waterproof, but I've never tried them. The only thing I've found that is truly waterproof are rubber gloves. Youo can get some bitchin insulated gloves at fisherman's supply store. They are sometimes called freezer gloves.

I usually go with "oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, fuck!" Sometimes I change it up "Fuck yeah mother fuckers!"

My biggest beef with tis law is that there is no room for compromise. It is possible to have a smoking section that doesn't waft into the rest of the establishment. Barring a special room, an owner could set up some covered areas outside so that the smokers can dodge out for a smoke. I know a lot of smokers and this arrangement doesn't seem to bother them. My self-interest is more important than your self-interest. BTW - I'm not a smoker either, and I hate cigarette smoke.

start your planning at www.nwac.org to get the latest on snow conditions. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but... I doubt that you will find any ice in the area. Most of our rock is soaking wet right now. I would also be concerned about avy danger. We are getting a lot of snow in the mountains and it hasn't had time to consolidate. This is where some hardman posts a reply to call me a pussy.
