When are you guys heading down?
-
Did you try to google it....because if you had you would have found this: http://www.mountaineers.org/nwmj/07/issue4.html

Yeah, good times at the PI....but come on...seriously, next time it's Dante's on Thursday....any other day of the week is ok to venture elsewhere, but $2 pitcher night is sacred.

I had a pair of approach shoes resoled recently at Dave Page. The first day I wore them, they started to delaminate. By the end of the day, about half of the sole had peeled. I bought some cement, and glued them back together myself. Just one experience though, maybe one of his underlings did the work. Next time, I'll request that he does it.

Damn Porter, sorry to hear about this man. Get fixed up soon, and keep your spirits up. I'll drink an extra pitcher for ya at Dante's tonight.

TeleRoss replied to Blake's topic in North Cascades
cool... not sure how that formation got the name "Cutthroat Wall", but calling that thing a wall is sorta absurd. -
Hell yeah...that thing looks fricking rad

[TR] Pickets - Luna Peak and adventure in unnamed
TeleRoss replied to Steph_Abegg's topic in North Cascades
A+ for effort.... stop going with suckers if you want to get anything done in the Pickets. ps what you have labeled in your panorama as Himmelhorn is actually the Rake...Himmelhorn is over by Twin Needles..hence, the Ottohorn-Himmelhorn Col -
There is no "sustained" 5.11 on the Grand Wall. One move on the Sword pitch, and Perry's is nothing more than 5.10, but that one is sustained, and pumpy. go get on it....it is one of the best routes around.

Yeah sometimes we're at the picnic tables, sometimes out by one of the firepits, and sometimes over in the dunes. You sorta have to do a walk through and check each spot...but sure enough, we're somewhere....good times!!! next time though, we need ice for the margs.

I always thought that the FA ended up to the right of the upper portion of the black line...more like over in the corner to the right? maybe? who knows...more pertinent though is who cares! Looks like a fun climb.

Bugaboos from Seattle -- high or low traverse?
TeleRoss replied to goatboy's topic in British Columbia/Canada
"major canadian highway" you're talking about the land sans freeways I-90 to Coeur d'Alene, then north through Sandpoint...I've found that to be the quickest.
