  1. Not gonna be running too fast with a full bag of tools...
  2. Is that the one that runs along Mercer Street on the north side of Seattle Center? I need to leave way early to go to work that day if it is.
  3. Isn't there a FS A-Frame up on Table Mtn between E-burg and Blewett? I'm already booked, else I'd come up.
  4. Yah, Ballard thing deal place on Leary or Sloop. Trivia's no fun when you are there to drink and throw chairs.
  5. I'll go if Puget is going.
  6. Line-item veto in and of itself is not the end of the world, IMO, however in the context of this Adminstration, it looks like yet another move to consolidate power under the Executive, always done with Republican adminstrations, particularly so with the asshats we now have in the White House. None of them are to be trusted. Bush and his people are only acting in the interests of themselves and their rich friends. What a sham.
  7. I do this too. Heavy duty foil works a little better IMO. Also if you might be cooking fish in this same foil, it will be up to that job and still function in its primary job. A little gunky perhaps, but still functional.
  8. Uh oh. I may have developed a 3 in 1 coffee habit. Hey, I can't keep milk in the house for that damned espresso machine ALL the time, OKAY?
  9. $2.12.
  10. I cruised by Vantage yesterday. Place was empty and the rock looked vehhery inviting.
  11. Luke, that's really neat. So you're going to be a young parent, which is way mass cool for the kid(s), and the other upside is that you'll still be spry enough to really enjoy life after they have left the house. Good luck with the visa nonsense, come home soon so we can meet your Mongolian princess.
  12. The neo-cons have come up with another great red herring issue to get the Evangelicals to come out and vote. Several states have intiatives in the works to make adoption of children by gay people illegal. Brilliant strategy, will probably work. Issues like this seem to be more central to the Evangelicals than petty matters, like, say, war crimes, or the selling off of our ports to foreign countries.
  13. Bush should be in prison. He's not a real Republican anyway.
  14. I've been really happy with the Sony EX-51 (or EX-71, same 'buds). They are more like in the $30-40 range.
  15. Another good place to get a ski helmet (I too had to get one when I was regularly skiing with a kid) is EvoGear in Fremont. I didn't pay a lot for mine. I have to be honest, now that I'm not skiing with the kid any more, I never wear the helmet.

    SCUZZ BUCKETS!!

It didn't really cost any more to get the low low deductable, so I don't know what to tell you. It's something like 15K per claim total, so I'm covered for anything but a total loss. My parents were hippies, I didn't have Barbies.

    SCUZZ BUCKETS!!

I do, my deductable is $100, so if my gear gets stolen, it's covered. I think it runs me about $12 a month.

    SCUZZ BUCKETS!!

Your renter's or homeowner's insurance should cover the loss assuming your deductible's low enough for it to be worth claiming. Sorry to hear your board got stolen, that suxxor.
  19. Meh, my therapist tells me there's nothing special about multiple personalites.
  20. What do you mean?
  21. I have a wobble board and am taking gluc/msm. Thanks for your concerns, what I am looking for is info on ankle braces.

  23. I've been wearing a neoprene one off and one for years and suddenly my skin doesn't like neoprene any more. Anyone know what else is out there that's reasonably supportive? I liked the neo because it's simple, cheap, and grabs the front side of the subtalar joint and holds it still, which is what I'm looking for. No spray please. The reaction from the neoprene has been bad enough, thank you.
  24. I'm sure we can make a load of suggestions if you can be more specific. Are you sure it needs to be a true four season tent? Freestanding or no? Single wall or double, any preference on layout/doors, price/weight, tell all.
