i find it interesting that the right, which has always at least paid vocal obeisance to the idea of privacy rights, is now of the opinion that "if you haven't done anything wrong, then you don't have anything to worry about" which is basically the same thing as "presumption of guilt"...... i also note, PP, the disdainful note you take towards 'civil liberties'. that says more about you than anything.

If you are into Australian history, read "The Fatal Shore" by Robert Hughes. I lived down in Oz for 3 years and this book made me realize why they are they way they are.
