Is it still ass-kissing by a dirty old man if I've soloed routes myself but still feel like giving a 'good on ya' to Hannah? Please, oh wise sage, give us guidance.
Apparently the problem is that giving a bit of a thumbs up to a person a lot of us has met is upsetting to some of those who are whoring to get into Alpinist mag. Or am I being too dramatic?
Met plenty of rich kids who spent daddy's money doing nothing but getting drunk and high for four years at some expensive school. You couldn't ask for a better argument for non-inheritance of wealth (not that I'm advocating it, I'm just sayin'...)
Recently, I ran across what looks like a discontinued Atlas snowshoe that was compatible with BD Sabretooth crampons (thus avoiding the need for same on the snowshoe itself thus lightening its weight). Anybody ever have a pair of these? How did they perform?
Is it a LOT of stuff? Have you thought about offering it
a) as a one price for all?
b) making smaller functional groupings and offering them for one price?
c) taking it all to Second Ascent and seeing what they'll take and then sell the rest?
