  1. and what's up with the indian/star/arrow thing? am I too young?
  2. it's a self portrait of course!
  3. blank CD's too?!?!?! even if I'm backing up my email onto them?!
  4. if you buy CD's at concerts, my understanding is that the artist gets more of the money that way.
  5. "I live in a giant bucket!" "you're watching the family learning channel, and now, angry ticks fire out of my nipples!" wow, I had to watch that again, the whole thing is too damned funny!
  6. iaxx, where's your ??
  7. I'll agree with CBS. While I enjoy climbing (and that's where I'll be spending most of my free time this summer), hiking certainly has it's place. If you don't like hiking, then you must not like a significant portion of climbing, considering how much of an approach a lot of climbs have. If you enjoy hiking, then you'll enjoy the whole experience, not just the a short section in the middle. A hike for the sake of hiking, whether it's just doing Angels Rest or the Timberline Trail in a day, is certainly something worth doing. (For the record, the best day of my life was a hiking day...)

    Image Poll

oops, wrong vote... Maybe I should read the options more carefully next time.
  9. a few mountains in the North Cascades about as close to Canadia as you can get without actually being there...
  10. I just remember that 50 liters is about 3000 cubic inches, and extrapolate from there. That gives me a rough estimate.
  11. mmmm... 8000 meter peaks....
  12. mmmm... caving... too bad cave dog has nothing to do with caving
  13. Why don't the record companies actually give the music (or at least some of the profits) back to the bands who really need it? I buy CD's at shows and from smaller labels, where a more substantial part of the profits actually go to the artist themselves.
  14. I think he's still honeymooning...
  15. It seems that Fence Sitter has been even more bored at work than I have today (if he's even at work/if he even works...) Is it Thursday afternoon yet?
  16. yeah, but Trask is trying to make a joke about it. Some things just aren't laughing matters.
  17. I'm not trying to move in on anyone's territory, I was just curious.
  18. so TLG, what is "young" in your mind? do you have a specific age range?
  19. what I want to know is, can I trace these back to the physical locations so I can go personally kick their ass?
  20. depending on the part of bunside........
  21. thankfully one of my lawyer friends tell me that most of those frivolous lawsuits never actually go through. But they still bog down the legal system, and the problem is he said "most" (not all). I'm not sure what kind of penalties there are right now for submitting a frivolous suit like that, but it needs to be a lot steeper.
  22. who did "Blinded by the Light" first? I like Manfred Mann's version better...
  23. I've heard that story too, is it actually true? If so, did the guy actually win? our legal system is a joke sometimes...

    Nuts

Honey Roasted Peanuts are my favorite...
  25. while I normally don't condone violence, I'd be all for staking out a good sniping location and getting some of those fuckers in the ("oh no! not the good cheek!")
