We need to import the tradition of having giant-sized street puppets. Yeah. And set them on fire kind of like they do on Guy Fawkes Day, which is a celebration of freedom. Yeah. Guy Fawkes/Bonfire becomes Election Celebration in the U.S.A. I hear they're trying to outlaw street puppets and large handheld signs in Miami. Something to do with security concerns.

The singer, who has just released a song titled Touch of My Hand, has told the US magazine People that women should "make themselves happy" and then let their partners "kind of follow up." "When you turn yourself on, that really is what turns the guy on. So just make yourself happy and let them just kind of follow up after you." Britney says women should masturbate before men

Yeah, the bad thing is you don't know if your best efforts will have good results. Guess you just have to take the chance and hope for the best. I came across some info somewhere once that said that successful people were either 1) raised with almost limitless opportunity (education, social background) or 2) raised in adverse conditions (lack of education, e.g.). The first situation should be a no-brainer, early intellectual stimulation during development and continued support throughout life. The latter situation, however, appears to have given the person something more substantial, a drive to succeed. I hear a lot that many of today's kids (and adults for that matter) have a sense of entitlement and that accounts for the deadbeats and the mediocre.

any correlation between rise of porno culture and naming your girls after expensive cars?

inspiration for baby names used to come from traditional sources such as the Bible, names like Ben, John, Ruth, etc. wonder what this means if we derive our inspiration for naming what some parents consider their greatest gift, an inspiration derived from sources such as a mass culture of expendable goods? Triumph of materialism over idealism? Maybe Madonna had it right, years ago. Trash the spiritual and replace it with crass materialism. Actually, it seems to more accurately reflect a Zeitgeist of outward appearances or flash over substance or emphasis of the temporal in contrast to lasting presence.

Lets see...you only wear wool and cotton hemp etc. You only use muscle driven transportation or wind or solar etc. You never seek out modern medicine and its wonders from the petrochemical indusrty I could go on and on and on but why bother this arugment is like gun control: WE ALL HAVE OUR MIND SET AND THAT IS THAT Yeah, there is no viable replacement for the use of hydrocarbons in producing consumer products such as plastics and pharmaceuticals. However, concerning its use as a fuel source, the political action appears to be business as usual. Implementation of alternative fuel sources appears to be proceeding at a glacial pace albeit with the exception of nuclear energy derived by fission. It seems to require a crisis, e.g., the 1973 oil embargo, to force drastic measures to address the issue on a broad scale. Shouldn’t direct and indirect events such as the 1973 oil embargo and 911 reinforce the idea that the procurement of oil from foreign sources will continue to be a thorn in our side? One doesn’t need a lot of foresight to realize that the problems in the Middle East will continue and foreign political forces will manipulate the situation for their benefit. We like to think as the world’s remaining superpower that we control the situation but damned if I don’t believe that we’re being played the world’s sucker by these smaller countries. And, who’s losing out? The majority of the working people in the United States. All this crap is on our backs whether we pay more of our share of taxes for the war machine or to rebuild a foreign country or if we send our children to fight. I’d like to know what will be the driver that forces us to address the next evolution in our society. There is a definite sense of urgency in implementing alternative energy sources because each life lost is a casualty of the lack of a progressive energy policy that has a vision that looks several generations beyond the current one.

Dude, you're overanalyzing it. You're harshing on my situational humor. Meaning, don't take it so literally.
